They didn’t really like going out on runs that meant they would need to be away overnight anymore. But the kids were safe and taken care of, and Rick and Michonne weren’t really traveling too far away from home, so they decided to go on the run together.
Most food, medical supplies, and weapons were long ago looted and depleted, but there was still the need for tools, clothes, gardening implements, and other things. Rick and Michonne could do the run standing on their heads. It was a simple one. An easy one. Something that they could have encouraged one of the young people to do. But Rick insisted that they go out for the run and spend the night out there at one of their designated safehouses. Michonne agreed and was happy to follow Rick out on the expedition. Sometimes, it was nice to get outside of the walls.
They had cleared the nearby hardware store of remaining tools and packed them away in the van. It was late when they had finished stocking up on gardening supplies and other things that would help their produce grow and be healthy.
“Got everything?” asked Rick.
“Yeah,” said Michonne.
“Alright then, let’s get to the safehouse.”
…
The drive wasn’t far at all. They could have made it back home that evening. But Rick was adamant about them staying there. He asked Michonne to do a perimeter check while he checked the inside of the small cabin. When Michonne finished checking the outside and entered the room, her eyes lit up and she could not help but let out a small, amused laugh.
“Rick? What’s this?”
“You like it?” he asked, gesturing to where the bunch of string lights were hung strategically over the small bed.
Michonne took in the space with a smile. The safehouse didn’t normally look like it did in that moment. It was more practical. Rick had obviously decorated the area with pretty lights, changed the bedding, and had a bottle of wine and glasses set up nearby. It looked like something out of a romantic movie. The string lights added a special touch. Michonne appreciated Rick; appreciated when he did things like that just for her. It still made her feel loved and giddy.
“I love it,” said Michonne as she cupped Rick’s face and pressed a passionate kiss to his lips; she led him by the hand towards the bed. “I love it so much.”
…
“We’ve definitely gotta do this more often,” said Michonne as she snuggled in closer to Rick; their bodies still warm and glistening from their lovemaking. “It’s nice.”
Rick kissed the top of her head and said, “Sure is.”
They fell into a comfortable silence then. Close to one another as their breath began to steady. The overhead lights dancing across their skin and reflecting in their eyes.
“Y’know, if we met before all o’ this, I’d have made sure to take you away on weekends together,” Rick said, as he ran his hand up and down Michonne’s back. “Get you away from it all where we could both just have some time together.”
“What about the kids?” she asked; ever the doting mother.
“We got enough family who’d wanna look after them,” he said with a smile. “We do right now. They all know how hard you work. We all appreciate you so much. That’s why I had this idea a few weeks ago. Came through and set it up all nice for you before we came out.”
“Rick, you didn’t have to do any of this for me,” said Michonne, hugging him tighter.
“Of course I did,” he supplied with a smile. “You deserve it. It ain’t much in the grander scheme o’ things, but you still deserve it.”
She leaned up on her elbow and stared down at Rick. They shared a smile and a soft, lovestruck look. Michonne ran her hand over the side of his face.
“You deserve it, too,” she proffered before pecking a kiss to his lips. “You deserve everything.”
@intombiende it’s a really low stakes, relaxed challenge. Simply use the prompt for each day of September and create either a fic or drawing. Writing can be 100 word minimum and based on the prompt for the day. You can try all of them, select a few, or use one. It’s for everyone at every level. Richonne just has to be the main pairing.
Also, should have read writing OR drawing instead of AND. Thank you for pointing that out.

A/N: This is unadulterated smut. I just used the Apple Scene of them in bed and expanded on it as if Michonne stayed in bed. Rick 'I Eat that Pussy Like the Last Supper' Grimes is back. Enjoy!
Content: Explicit Oral Sex; Language
They always shared an apple in the mornings to break their fast. One always sat on the bedside table for them to share in the morning. A quick bite to eat before they start their day. But that morning Rick had wanted something else to satiate his appetite. He and Michonne had begun by eating the fruit, but Rick wanted to eat something far juicier and more delectable. Michonne told him that they didn’t have time that morning, but he insisted he would be quick.
So, the apple that they were sharing was long forgotten as Rick’s hot kisses trailed down Michonne’s warm skin. She closed her eyes and kept her fingers threaded through his hair. Her legs parted when he kissed her inner thighs. Rick mumbled something unintelligible before his lips pressed against her sex. His tongue slipped from his mouth and licked the expanse of Michonne’s slit.
She moaned as his attention moved to her clit. Rick sucked the sensitive bud as he brought his fingers to her heat. Michonne’s hips bucked when Rick slid one finger and then another inside of her. She spread her legs further apart as Rick finger fucked her while sucking her clit. She was already so wet for him. He hummed against her while he drew delighted moans from her lips.
Just like every single thing Rick ever did, he ate pussy with focus and intensity. His fingers pressed against Michonne’s spongy spot as his tongue swirled over her pulsing little nub. After a moment, Rick repositioned himself, withdrew his slick fingers and replaced them with his tongue as he strummed her clit with his thumb. Michonne gripped his curls more tightly as his skilful tongue dipped inside of her dripping, aching cunt.
“Rick,” she moaned, lost in the feeling of her penetrating pleasure.
Urged on by her cries, Rick continued with his attentions, pulling Michonne closer to her release with each flick of his tongue and each strum of his thumb. He loved having her like that: On her back, he legs spread wide, and her beautiful pussy on display for him to taste and tease. She was glistening wet. He was like a man on the verge of perishing. He wanted to drown in her.
After a while, Michonne lost all composure as she came hard against Rick’s clever mouth. He sucked and licked as her orgasm washed over her. Breathing in her scent; clasped between her strong legs. Listening to the sounds of her trying to catch her breath as he watched her sex pulse and gush, his own sex hard and dripping.
He kissed the inside of her thigh, before shifting up the bed, and covering her body with his. He began to reach over to the bedside table when Michonne gave him a questioning look.
“What’re you doing?” she asked, breathless and panting.
“Finishing the apple,” said Rick, slightly nonplussed.
Michonne let out an amused little laugh as she pushed Rick back on their bed. She reached her hand down and took hold of Rick’s hard cock.
She gave him a few deft strokes before leaning down and licking a stripe up the side of his shaft.
Rick moaned and said, “I’m good, Darlin’. We don’t have time.”
Michonne twirled her tongue over the smooth, red tip of Rick’s cock and said, “Trust me, Baby. We’ve got time.”
Created for the @richonneevents Last Day of Summer Bingo. Teen Richonne AU. Might expand on it and add Michonne’s POV.
It had been an enjoyable summer. Delightful, even. Rick thought that they all had been memorable in their own right, but there was something special about the current summer. In all the times that Rick, his brother Jeff, and his parents had vacationed in the sleepy seaside town, he had never had such a good time. And it was all down to the young lady he had met there: Michonne.
She and Rick ran into one another while beachcombing halfway through their vacation. Rick was there to humor his little brother in search of washed-up treasure, and he was the one to find a gem. She was cute and focused on the task at hand. Rick couldn’t stop staring at her. When their eyes finally met, she blessed him with a pretty smile that made her whole entire face light up. Rick was so gone on her from then on.
Michonne, an only child, was there with her parents but liked spending time on her own. She was a creative soul, down by the rock pools gathering things that had washed up on the shore. Rick sparked up a conversation with Michonne, and convinced his little brother to let her have a look at his haul in case she saw something that might be suitable for her creation.
The pair of teens hit it off and were inseparable ever since. Rick would spend his mornings with his family and then rush off to hang out with Michonne. His crush on his new friend was growing with every moment that they spent together. He was delighted to find out that she was from Georgia, too.
He felt hopeful about them maintaining a connection when he returned to King County and she to Atlanta. Even if they did live further away, he would still follow his heart and ask her to be his girl. He just wished he hadn’t waited until the last day of summer to pluck up the courage to ask Michonne out.
The influx of Michonne and Richonne art has been giving me LIFE!
I haven't seen anyone do a Rick and Michonne version of the apple core trend, but maybe someone who can actually draw will get in on this and make up for my lack of skill.
Say goodbye to the summer by creating fanworks for our beloved Rick and Michonne.

There was an excitement in the air, Rick thought, as he and Judith walked hand-in-hand up to the front of the little girl's new school. The excitement certainly outweighed the nerves, he surmised, as he listened to his daughter chatting away happily as they reached the front steps.
Any nerves that she might have been feeling were masked by her curious nature.
She was so brave, considering what they had been through as a family. Carl was, too. Rick was always amazed by his children. They showed this innate resilience, even when Rick thought he was falling apart. His children kept him going.
He loved them so much. He really, truly hoped that the new start in his hometown would be good for them. That they would settle in and find happiness there. That they could start the first days of the rest of their lives. He was already so happy that they were there together, and knew in his soul that things would only get better.
Judith gave him a nice long hug goodbye, and then made her way over to the other student waiting for her. He watched Judith greet her assigned 'buddy', gave her a wave, and watched her head inside the school building before turning to leave. Just then, he was stopped in his tracks by the sight of the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.
He was struck by how beautiful she was. Actually, beautiful was not adequate to describe her. She was stunning; breathtaking. She stole Rick's breath away for a moment as he took her in.
Her light, white coat was set striking against her lovely dark skin. Long braids cascaded down her shoulders and back, framing her face prettily.
She was standing there with one hand over her heart and the other waving to a little boy who was skipping over to his friends.
"Have the best day, Peanut!" she called out before blowing a kiss.
"You, too, Mama," the child replied quickly before continuing to laugh and joke with his friends.
Not only was Rick taken by her beauty, but he also felt a sense of concern grow for her because the beautiful stranger remained in place, staring off at her son, with fondness but also with some sadness. Rick noticed it for what it was.
"First time he declined a hug from his Mama, eh?" asked Rick as he placed both hands in his pockets.
"Excuse me?" said the stunning stranger as she turned to face Rick.
"Your son," said Rick, gesturing to where the boy was now playing boisterously with his friends. "You looked a little sad just now. Thought it might be the first time he didn't want a hug at mornin' drop-off."
"Oh," said the lady, a small smile gracing her lips as she stepped closer to Rick. "Yeah, Andre's been wanting hugs less and less these past few weeks."
She let out a sigh then and crossed her arms over her front self-soothingly.
"Your little girl," she said. "She looked pretty happy for a morning drop-off hug."
"Yeah, my Judith," he replied a smile crossing his lips. "It's her first day o' school. She's actin' pretty brave, and she most definitely is, but she ain't ready to give up the drop-off hugs just yet."
"How exciting! She's adorable," the lady said with a smile. "And I am so jealous of you right now."
Rick let out a laugh and smiled at her joke.
"I'm Michonne, by the way," she added.
"Rick," he replied. "Pleasure to meet you, Michonne."
"Likewise," she supplied, and her bright smile made Rick weak in his knees; he placed his hands to his hips to try and maintain balance.
"You all just arrive in town?"
"Yeah," Rick drawled. "Me, Judith, and my teenager, Carl."
He tracked her gorgeous eyes as they looked at his left hand, maybe searching for any sign of a wedding band, or lack thereof, he hoped.
"Lovely," said Michonne in earnest. "Is Carl too big for hugs?"
"He still gives 'em when he feels like it."
"Any advice for a single mom with a growing boy?"
Rick's lips turned up into a smile at that very pertinent piece of information, as well as the adorable and hopeful look on Michonne's face.
“I might have,” he offered. “But as a single dad, I’m still figuring out a lot of this stuff myself.”
“Noted,” said Michonne with a bright beam.
A moment of quiet passed between them as they took in each other’s appearance. Rick inadvertently smoothed down his clothes before reaching up and running his hand through his curls. Michonne watched him before clearing her throat.
"Well, Rick, it's been nice to chat with you," said Michonne. "Oh, and welcome to King County.”
"Thank you," said Rick. "Was nice to chat with you, too. Oh, and it's more of a 'welcome back' for me. Hometown boy comin’ home.”
"Oh," said Michonne with a nod of her head and a crooked but attractive smile. "Guess that messes with my plans, then."
Rick returned the crooked smile and asked, "What plans?"
“I was planning on offering to show you around town," said Michonne with a shrug of her shoulder; she then added, rather flirtatiously, "Y'know, show you the sights and points of interest and whatnot."
"Hey, I'm keen," said Rick, his smile so wide that it almost hurt. "I'm more than happy for you to lead me around town like I ain't ever been here before."
Michonne let out a little amused laugh at that. It sounded like the sweetest song.
"Come to think of it," Rick added, as he leaned in conspiratorially. "It's been ages since I’ve lived here. So, you should just go on and keep that plan of yours. I know I just met you, but I'd follow anywhere you wanted to lead me to."
Michonne let out a glorious laugh then as she placed one hand to Rick's forearm, and the other to her lips to stifle the laugh as other nosy parents glanced their way.
"You're funny, Rick," she said while withdrawing her hand after a beat. "Funny and charming.”
"Don't know about all o' that," he replied. "But you sure do bring something out in me."
Michonne bit her lip and then dipped her head, looking up at him through her long lashes; Rick almost fell over. They stood staring at one another for a moment. A beep coming from Michonne's wristwatch broke the reverie between them.
"Darn it, I have to go," said Michonne, looking like she really did not want to leave.
"Yeah," said Rick, not moving an inch. "Me, too."
They held one another's gaze a little while longer before Rick added, "See you back here for after-school pick-up?"
Michonne smiled bright and wide before saying, "I sure do hope so."|
