Not much today. Spent my Sunday catching up with work that has piled up over the last few busy days. Luckily I have my favourite show, Dragon Ball to keep me entertained.

Hanging out with the beautiful girl friend! Every Saturday morning, regardless if we have to run off to work we would start off the day with “Gramercy”. It’s a local bakery located in central Berhampore, Wellington, they make the best croissants and coffee around!

The night was cloudy, but we still went proceeded with it. It went successfully with people leaving with a new experience of photographing the dark skies. It wasn’t any sort of Astrophotography however but I treated it like a night of hanging out and teaching people the basics of low light photography. There were beers and snacks and things turned out exactly how I wanted it to be. Every was there as friends and had a good night!

Stayed up quite late finishing this off. Pippa has been amazing, she has helped me through a lot of the designing process of this long time coming goal I’ve been trying to achieve. Since 2015, I’ve wanted to develop some sort of workshop or educational event where I would share my knowledge/experience of astrophotography and the outdoors. First ever trial workshop is going to be on the 16/06/2017. Can’t wait!!

It’s been awhile since all of my University friends/life long friends all got together. Everyone has gone off into their own paths in their journey of life. Different career paths and it was only last year that we all spent almost everyday together having the best of times.

We all got together for a massive pot luck, food always brings people together!

Loving that I’m able to just pack up and go with the spacious car I own. Simply just put a single sized bed with the back seated folded down. Makes it so easy for me to a moving house, cutting down all the expenses of booking out a motel or place to stay.

Having a long weekend so as soon as work finished we bounced on a mini road trip up the north island. Chasing the weather as the weather across the country is going to be raining and Taranaki seemed to be clear. 

Stopped at a surf beach close by and freedom camping for the night. I was able to get an awesome astro shot so check that out on my Instagram (r.w.h.s).

I think the best way to enjoy NZ views is to freedom camp.

Biggest fan of the Dragon Ball series. Almost 24 now and still watch Dragon Ball almost every single day just before bed. Don’t think I could have a good nights sleep without watching an episode.

Dinner night out with the girl. Unfortunately, she didn’t really enjoy her meal because it wasn’t fresh. We got into a discussion about why I shouldn’t tell the waiter that she wasn’t happy with her meal. We left. Forever unresolved issue.

Generic food post. Tried a variation of this Chick Pea snack over the weekend at Pippa’s families house. Her mother made it and it was so good and thought I would try it out myself tonight. 

Ingredients:

Chick peas, Walnuts, Almonds, Black Sesame seeds, Dukka mix, Salt and Pepper with a load of Olive Oil.

Method: 

Roast in oven for 25 minutes at 180 Degrees

Give it a go!
