“It did not growl. It did not make any sounds. It just tried to get in. Apparently it was scared and tried to shelter itself,” said Ray Zavalas, Quiznos employee.

Cover artwork for Ork by the late British artist Richard Clifton-Dey. Psygnosis released Ork in 1991 for the Amiga and Atari ST.
The artwork, entitled Behemoth's World, was flipped and zoomed in a bit when it was originally used a decade earlier for Blue Öyster Cult's 7th album Cultösaurus Erectus.

Hello! Since I no longer have a phone, I don't have internet access without a two mile walk (or bus ride) to my friend's house. I don't want to spend more money on the bus, and have been too sick to walk, so haven't been able to update.
I'm still at $66/$190 toward a new phone.
Paypal was allowing me to access my account with a phone call before, but suddenly will only allow for text confirmation, and since the screen of my phone is broken, that means I can only access Cashapp.
I also need a phone to photograph my work, or I can't post or contact clients (my only source of income.) I expect to be back living in a tent soon, luckily no one has made me do it yet since I've been sick.
Thanks so much for sharing!
Edited to update the status of my paypal account (tl;dr I have only access to cashapp now, since my broken phone can't display texts.)
Someone did send 5 on venmo, but without access to paypal I can't transfer it. I have a paypal card, so I can use the money if someone tells me it's there.

sometime in the early 2010s caring became gauche, so now we spend our entire lives finding ways to stay as aloof and detached from our surroundings as possible. astral projection seemed like a good trick but it turns out the unbound spirit is even more attuned to the breathing of the world than the naive one. and nirvana didn't suit most of our lifestyles. these days i mostly just levitate around with my eyes closed and my hands bound behind my back as i try to avoid accidentally brushing the ground. if you see me floating by don't call out to me because i'm not listening
