It's a new year so we start of with an easy one. This bassline was pretty prominent in the song so I think you'll be able to guess it real quick.

About?

So what’s this about?

You probably guessed it already but I’m attempting to post a new riff everyday for a whole year long.

I’ll play those riffs all by myself with all kinds of instruments. I’m mostly a bassplayer so expect the bass to come along pretty much but you might also see a guitar, ukelele, keyboard, drums, ipad-simulated-instruments and many more to pass by. You’ll see I like to get pretty creative when it comes down to emulating sounds.

I’m adding a litle game element in the mix also by not saying from which song I took a riff. So it will be up to you to guess the tune. No worries, the next day I’ll post the answer along with the real video of the song so you can judge if I did a good job.

I’m a big metal fan but don’t panic, when it comes down to playing music I like it all. So expect every genre to pass by. I’ll try to mix in the freshest tunes with the older forgotten ones and everything in between. This way, I hope you get to discover a lot of new music. Maybe you’ll even learn to appreciate a certain genre you hadn’t quite gotten into.

I hope you enjoy this tumblr as much as I’m enjoying making it.
