Riley Leaving The ABC Studios In Los Angeles
Cannes: Steven Soderbergh's 'Logan Lucky' Adds Riley Keough (Exclusive)
Steven Soderbergh's top secret directorial project Logan Lucky is building up its cast as the hot package is shopped in Cannes.
Riley Keough, who stars in the TV series The Girlfriend Experience (which is executive produced by Soderbergh), has joined the cast.
Soderbergh, who hasn't helmed a movie since 2013's medical thriller Side Effects, is returning to directing with Logan Lucky, which has been shrouded in secrecy since it first broke ahead of the Berlin Film Festival in February. The director has never officially confirmed he'll be breaking out of his self-declared retirement, but Filmnation is selling international rights in Cannes.
Channing Tatum and Michael Shannon will star in the project, playing brothers who plan a heist during a high-profile NASCAR race. Gregory Jacobs, Mark Johnson and Reid Carolin are producing.

Born in Los Angeles, she spent her formative years in California, Hawaii and London, and was home-schooled. “I had more of a bullshit detector than your average kid,” says Keough, who was five when her mom and dad (musician Danny Keogh) divorced. “Kids wanting to come to my house – I could sense agendas from a really young age.”

The kids that I grew up around…but I never really identified with any of them. I have one friend who I’m very close with, my friend Riley Keough, whose mother is Lisa Marie Presley. But other than that, I don’t have very many pals who are…I don’t know. I kind of stayed away from it all.

I didn’t ask for this. I just dealt with it.
Provocative, edgy, sexy and multi-layered, GFE shines to Keough’s brilliant—and darkly psychotic—acting in what is truly a breakout role.
