[Text]: Hey, I know it's rather late, and this might be something you hate. But I can't help but be straight and ask you out on a date. - Riley The (shitty) Poet.
Text: That would be great, you can pick me up at eight. Don’t be late. x
"Well, flattery will get you everywhere." Poor Riley is far worse at hiding his nerves than Ed is, but he does have the advantage of looking really cute whatever he happens to be doing. And Ed really isn’t sure he can take having thoughts containing the word ‘cute’. This is getting out of hand way too fast, and he thinks it’s time for a diversion. "Hm? What? Sorry, I’m having a little trouble focussing… this suit is very distracting on you," He murmurs, moving in close.
"I do try." Riley murmured, offering a sheepish smile as he waited for the blonde to take his hand patiently. He just wanted to get into the car as quickly as possible, that way he could maybe calm down and not end up with sweat patches on his shirt. Just as he thought that, he was pulled closer to the Prince, eyes going wide as he felt Ed's lips oh so close. "I...we...well thanks but...we have to go soon...I have a booking."
