French toast that I wanted to eat when it gets cold
:)
A picture that will make you want to study
Someone said, “In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect.”
The “Rose of Sharon” is Korea’s representative flower. It also symbolizes love, beauty, and healing.
“We’re the same.
We’re the same people.
Are you happy? Are you sad?
Why is it so hard to be loved?”
- Zico “Human”
“For we believe by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7)
It is believed that the word “Niagara” is taken from an Iroquoian word “Onguiaarha”. It is also believed that it has the meaning “Thundering Waves”.
“So, this is my life. And I want you to know that I am both happy and sad and I’m still trying to figure out how that could be.” - the Perks of Being a Wallflower
I don’t know if I’m the only one, but am I the only one who lost so many contacts during the pandemic? I think about the casual and shallow relationships that I had that I now just assume they are doing well by sliding through their 24 hour social media story which I’m pretty sure they do the same thing for me too.
I also think about the people who I wasn’t necessarily “friends” with, but who I met regularly either at school, work, or church and think about how I actually enjoyed talking with them even though the subject wasn’t always necessarily interesting, but simply because I’m a social creature 😂
I also think about the people who I was in the process of getting to know, but stopped and wonder if I would be still talking with them or would’ve even bond a special relationship if it wasn’t for this bad virus.
I’m not complaning or anything, but I just don’t know what to think or how to feel about the fact that this new normal of being socially passive is already becoming so mundane.
“We accept the love we think we deserve”
“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7)
Honestly, today I had one of the longest days ever! Woke up at 7:30 am, started the day with an exam, got my assignment’s mark, had to study for another upcoming exam, had a meeting with my teammates and got criticised on my idea (which I know I should take it constructively, but it’s not always easy to accept that in my heart plainly as is it without any bit of embarassment), I just had a conflict with my dad yesterday which I can’t help, but to feel bothered and on top of all this, I’m pmsing (tmi) 😭
I just wanted to give up everything and shut myself down at the end of the day, but before crowling into my bubble with so much bitterness and negativity, I remind myself that I have God in my back and no matter what I go through or how crappy I feel, God always loves me unconditionally 😍
To anyone out there who are having a long long day, I just want to tell you that God loves you and He knows what you’re going through. He listens to your heart. Whoever gets to read this, I hope this encourages you!
Have a good day or night wherever you are 🥰
My life is a constant work in progress 😀
