A suicide bomber bombed a Shia mosque during Friday midday prayer killing over 30 fasting men and women and resulting in 200+ injuries.

Why is no one talking about this? Is it not “appealing” or important enough to be recognised?

Don’t dare tell me this isn’t as newsworthy as the same-sex marriage legalisation or the Charleston shooting or the France attacks. This is the 4th Shia mosque to be bombed in the past TWO MONTHS, but I haven’t seen anyone give a damn about it yet.

People need to talk about this, stop acting like it’s irrelevant because we can’t change jack shit without recognising the problem.

How can we claim to be “developed” nations if we can’t find basic acceptance and tolerance in our hearts? All I see is fear of difference.

Islam is a religion of peace, yet the Islamic countries are struggling to find peace. This is not Islam, this is terrorism.

May all 30 victims rest in peace. My heart goes out to all their families.
