“Someone new arrived today. They emerged from the woods as if in a trance,

 stumbling upon the campfire in silence, before promptly turning around. We 

knew he would come back. After a stubborn amount of time, he realized there 

was no way out beyond the guarding and gnarled spider legs. He arrived once 

more, slumped upon the furthest log and remained quiet in our barrage of 

questions. Some of us are suspicious of him and the strangely calm demeanor. 

Most people would come bawling, shaking, anything. Instead he traverses the 

woods as quietly as the beasts we hide from. The wretched crows are calm in 

his presence, while hooks fall apart under his skillful hands. He has a knack for 

surviving, I wonder… if he’s used to this?“

Jake Park is a solitary survivalist, able to hold his own in most situations.
