Hi Jill! Any advice on posting art? It seems sometimes tumblr reduces quality? I have to click on my picture sometimes and it looks fine but it’s blurry in the post. Am I using a canvas that’s too big?

tbh i have this same problem, my posts always look blurry on the dashboard and then fine when i expand them.. i heard that theres a certain width you can make your images to fit into the tumblr page perfectly but i don’t remember what it is 😣

chrompoised said: 1280px ! Though that’s kind of small. I suggest saving the raw file for making stuff from it (like printing) and then a “smaller version” that’s 1280px wide for displaying on tumblr.

THANK YOU!! <3 I’m always very bad in explaining what I’m doing. Cause there is just a lot of trying and painting over it and mashing and mixing colors until I feel it’s good. So I tried to show you. I hope this helps!

for my first digital drawing, i traced one of my old pieces then attempted to color it. coloring is not my forte, obviously. but tracing my old work was super helpful in getting used to the tablet!
