The shorter angel returned the hug. He looked up at him. “You would do that for me,” he asked. He was so naive and innocent and it showed. And the hug had been the first touch he ever felt. It felt good.

“Yes of course..i would do anything for you Castiel” Lucifer said smiling as he carded his fingers threw Castiel’s hair “What would you like to do until father needs to see you? or rather us.”

Cas shrugged. “I don’t know. I usually keep to myself so it’s up to you.” He was one of the more submissive angels. Michael had wanted him for his innocence. And it was clear why Michael wanted to be his Mate.

Lucifer grinned hugging Castiel before falling into the bed of flowers him going first of course he didn’t want Castiel to get hurt, lucifer turned his head and sneezed a couple of times as pollen went up his nose making him laugh a bit “Sorry did i scare you..i didn’t mean to”

Cas was suddenly on top of Lucifer in a bed of flowers. He smiled and cuddled into his chest, purring softly as he did so. “No, you didn’t.” He was content, cuddled into his brother.

“Alright good” Lucifer said smiling up at the other as he ran his thumb over Castiel’s cheek the sound of birds flying over head as they laid there “I still can’t get over how beautiful your eyes are”

“Thank you.” Castiel took it as a huge compliment. He blushed and looked up at Lucifer. “I want to stay like this and never move,” he whispered against him.

“Me too but unfortently at some point we will have to” Lucifer said smiling caressing Castiels face “I would gladly be your mate, but not for the reasons Michael wants to be..i care for you and i would rather not loose you”

The younger male leaned into the touches. “Why does Michael want me as his Mate anyway? He’s our Father’s Warrior. He never wanted a Mate before now.” He was genuinely confused about it.

“I’m not totally sure, i can never guess what my brothers thinking with that stoic expression he always wears” Lucifer said tilting his head “Maybe he is interested in you or he’s trying to get points with father, those are my two guesses”

Castiel looked up at him and smiled a bit. "I like you though. You're not like the others. You're different." Cas knew what Lucifer and Michael were arguing over and he admired Lucifer for not listening.

Castiel shook his head. He had no real specific destination. And he was submissively shy and innocent. He would do anything Lucifer told him to do, go anywhere Lucifer wanted. When his cheek was touched, he leaned into his brother’s hand and smiled up at him.

Cas walked next to Lucifer. He felt safe around him, content. “That sounds wonderful,” he said with a small smile. “You can show me it.” He was getting attention and he liked it. His wings were relaxed now, instead of wrapped around himself shyly.

Lucifer grinned his wings fluttering happily as he walked down the dirt path aways before turning onto a smaller dirt path the sounds they made walking caused a few animals scatter as they finally made it to a clearing with a wide variety of flowers growin in it.

Cas followed right next to his brother. He enjoyed every second of it and he smiled a bit as he looked up at him. “It’s beautiful here,” he whispered, watching a bird fly out of a tree. The place where Lucifer was taking him was reserved for the Archangels. Angels could go there if invited but not many had been.

“Yea it is, i’m glad i get to share it with you” Lucifer said looking over at Castiel smiling as he stretched out his wing using it to bring Castiel closer to him as they walked

Castiel smiled as Lucifer’s wing pulled him closer. He liked the feeling of it. He looked up at him once more. Black wings fluttered happily. “It’s so quiet here.” He looked around at the scenery.

“Yea it is and thats what makes it perfect for thinking” Lucifer said smiling as they walked threw the flowers a couple of butterflies flying past them, Lucifer looked down at Castiel and smiled fondly at him combing a piece of hair from his face.

“Thank you for showing it to me.” They were alone now. He smiled up at his brother shyly as Lucifer smiled at him. He felt so calm in that moment. It was then that Michael appeared.

“Father wants to talk to you later,” he said. “About his decision for who He wants you to Mate with.” He then left again.

Cas’ eyes widened. “I don’t want to be Mated with Michael,” he said to Lucifer once he was sure the other was gone.
