Hello roleplayers and The Host fans!

I have just made this indie rp blog for Wanderer/Wanda [whichever you prefer] from The Host. I have been wishing to roleplay as her for a while now and finally after re-reading the book, watching the movie, and getting a little push from a new friend; here I am! I will roleplay with anyone who wishes to, I honestly love all people and I hope I can get to talk to a lot of you wonderful human beings out there [or whichever species you prefer]. I will plot and roleplay with everyone and anyone [repeat for emphasis much? hehe] Talk to me and Wanda, you should all know we would never hurt anyone! Just look at this face.

Ability:

Rory has the ability to use compulsion through singing. The better he sings the better the compulsion. He can direct his singing at one person to make the compulsion stronger or use weak compulsion on a whole room of people.

Consequences:

If he uses his compulsion too much or on too many people he can loose his voice for long periods of time. Overuse also makes him weaker and more tired.

Bio:

Rory was watched for a relatively short time before being taken. Rory learned about his ability at a very young age. He found that if he sang what he wanted he would get it no matter what. At the time he didn’t really know what it was but as he grew older he understood more. Rory was never really close to any of his family. He was singing in a local mall when a spy noticed how everyone seemed to be drawn to him and not just because for his singing. The spy took him that night for observation. Rory woke up the next morning in his bed with no memory of how he got there or what happened the day before. Rory was taken a week later. He was sixteen.

Rory didn’t have any real troubles living at The Academy because they still allowed him to sing without using compulsion. He is the only student that they let off campus. He knows that The Academy does that because they want to mold him into something they can use but he just goes a long with it for the most part. He doesn’t agree with it and wont help them but he doesn’t want to get in trouble while there is no immediate danger knowing they will make him stop singing. Recently though The Academy has been paying more attention to him and he doesn’t like it.

Rory has been friends with Rayalyn ever since he got to The Academy. She was the only one that blatantly pushed him away. She intrigued him. He kept pushing and she finally let him in. They are now best friends. Recently he has started developing feelings for her but he wont tell her in fear of her pushing him away again. Rory has a strong disliking for Logan. Logan very obviously wants Rayalyn and Rory doesn’t like that. He knows that she pushes Logan away now but he is afraid for what might happen in the future.

Personality:

Rory is friendly with everyone but likes to mind his own business most of the time. He figures that will keep him out of drama and trouble though he is very social. If you stay on his good side he will be loyal and stick up for anyone who deserves it.

Kidnapped walking home from school. Case was never solved.

He didn’t always live in Pennsylvania, he moved a while back. He used to live in Britain, which explains his accent. He gets a lot of calls from famous people who want him to help them out with scripts or certain things like that. He’s very close to his best friend, Bowen and younger brother, Gabriel. Spencer is a very good looking guy and because of it he always has girls going after him although he only plays with them and lets them go, truth is in his entire life he has only focused on one girl and that’s Rosie. He was her first boyfriend and she gave it all up to him, including her virginity. After that they broke up and she thinks that all he ever wanted was to have sex with her, but it isn’t like that, he loves her but doesn’t know how to express it since he’s only ever had girls and let them go. They’re friends sure, but it’s very awkward and complicated, he wants her to know how he feels and that he cares. He doesn’t believe in being in sports to show how manly you are, instead you can always see him on his skateboard or dancing. Spencer is a very sweet guy and anyone who gets to know him is lucky.
