“You can’t expect yourself to go from a negative mentality to a positive one overnight, but every time you correct a bad thought you are growing! So focus on your growth, not the fact that you aren’t “there” yet.”

Say it with me: I’m worthy of being loved, and appreciated, even when I may feel like I’m not.

“I wish I was healed before I met you so you could have met the best version of me”
I think about this often
You have to trust that there will be people who won’t abandon you. You have to believe that you are deserving. You have to fight your trigger/patterns by knowing what they are and where they came from. You have to forgive yourself for not knowing any better. Accept your underlying fear of abandonment and powerlessness. Try to take deep breaths when you‘re overwhelmed by your emotions. Do your best to withhold your subconscious need to control. Allow yourself to be in the Now. And trust that you can deal with the outcome, no matter what.
half of me finishes a book within 6-12 consecutive hours and the other half of me takes roughly six months.
a big part of being happy is being excited. be excited for everything - making a cup of tea, decorating your future apartment, seeing a friend again, falling in love unexpectedly, the next episode of a show you like, finishing something stressful, buying something you’ve been saving up for, a new album, sunsets, traveling, road trips, and the feeling of going to bed after a long day. think of something to be excited about and daydream about it often when you’re sad.

“I met a guy. For the first time in my life I fell in love. I let down my walls. I found someone who makes me laugh. Who gives me hope. I love him with everything I have in me.”
