Mothers Day

Today is a great day that we are able to get our whole family together to celebrate our love for our mothers. And I am blessed with an amazing mother and grandmother who,despite the shit I've put them through, continue to love me. But today was hard. My sister experienced a miscarriage two weeks ago and she is still taking it so hard (absolutely understandable). And so today, while we celebrated our mother and grandmother we also skirted around the topic for my sister. It's as if my family was trying to pretend it didn't happen. Which I get because we didn't want to make today any harder on her that it already is. But it still bothered me. To see the tightness in her smile and eyes. I know she was struggling not to breakdown. I know today was a hard day for her and she is so strong. This is just my way of showing her that I'm always here for her and always sending healing thoughts her way to help her get through the day. Happy Mother's Day to everyone. No matter what has happened to you. Whether you have healthy children, have suffered like my sister, have lost a mother, or experienced any sort of hardship. Know that you are still celebrated. Know that no matter how your life has played out, out of everything, you are still loved and nothing will change that. ❤️
