As a language enthusiast, I so much appreciate the gradual development of Grace-Rocky connection. They begin with simple words, that I can imagine how to show to an alien, then they develop phrases, long sentences and what’s so cool: science terms comes before emotions, because if you think about it, of course Petrova line is easier to understand for an alien than a hug. And in the end, on the Erid when Grace and Rocky speak without a laptop - I nearly cried because of course they speak without it, they made an effort for each other!

As a Linux user, I LOVE AO3. Yeah, it’s kinda hard, to understand (like Linux), but I love having a lot of filters and an opportunity to customise pretty much everything down to word count.

Also early-internet/no-design is so good! You won’t be overstimulated by design! No cringe art decisions, that do not look like the characters, that you imagined in your head! You can read smut and no one will see! It looks like a scientific journal website and I love it!

Okay, I've watched all three series, but for some reason this question made me angry, so hey, I'm here to write an explanation.

Firstly, Spencer Reed is a genius, but he is also more socially adapted than the other two. So the argument between Reed and Sheldon would look like "hey, don't try to beat me with knowledge - I'm an expert in another field," and there would be no dispute between Reed and Abed, because Reed would be interested in describing him in a future scientific dissertation.

If Sheldon was the initiator of the conversation, everything would quickly turn into a complete Monte Carlo error. Sheldon Cooper is a narcissistic asshole, he can't stand the genius around him.

And if Abed were the initiator of the conversation, which is very unlikely, he would just tell these guys about the events of the past day and his cool friends, and then he would offer to become friends too. I think Sheldon would have refused, but Spencer agreed.
