Not this year, maybe next year. I am admittedly frustrated that the con in my own state effectively bans me and many other artists from even having a chance at vending since they refuse to accomodate artists with adult themes in their work.

just finished alien: earth so i am compelled to yap online because my friends will not watch such things

the show definitely exceeded my expectations considering they were pretty much rock bottom after romulus. im very glad it didn't fall into the trap of the xenomorphs becoming a mindless horde of cannon fodder and instead tried something new entirely. unfortunately this route strips the xenomorph of its agency and mystique just as thoroughly and the novelty quickly wears off. all the malignant horror is reserved for the other fauna in the show, while the xenomorph has little to offer apart from slasher gore. these latest two installments are notably bereft of any real acknowledgment or expansion of the sexual + reproductive horror of the xenomorph (this is the main reason i am a prometheus enjoyer but knowing that you can now disregard all i say). it seems though that there is little that writers can think to do with the creature apart from it being used as a weapon for people to point at other people rather than as an entity unto itself (for this reason im also a prometheus and covenant hater).
