MXL Mic Contest
A big thank you to all that voted for the "Night Views" logo that I shot and designed in MXL contest. Your support is much appreciated!
Unfortunately, the winner was announced today and it was not us. The pictures were not judged at all by professionals for creativity, texture, design, etc but rather who could rack up the most votes and "likes" on Facebook. So the picture was just a shitty quality shot of a bunch of MXL mics crammed together.
Again thank you all for your votes and thanks to MXL microphones for not only holding the contest, but for the quality products they put out that we currently use in the "Night Views" studio and in our logo.

The Show Will Go On
It seems like Sandy was rough on New York and Atlantic City but our studio right outside of Atlantic City happened to be one of the few areas that was not affected by Sandy. We are also one the very few that had NO power outages. So we will be live tonight on GashouseRadio.Com at 10pm EDT, 7pm PDT. There is very little means of transportation in Jersey so Travis could not make it tonight but will try to call in. Rob's wife Patty will be sitting in studio tonight. Phone lines will be open and it will be a FREE show. And by free, we mean not only cost free but there are no set topics and we are willing to talk about whatever you want. Be there live tonight.
Hurricane Show Update
With Hurricane Sandy quickly approaching South Jersey (where "Night Views" broadcasts from), there may be effects to the live broadcast of tomorrow's show. The governor has evacuated Atlantic City and we are expecting power outages tonight in the studio. If the power is not restored by tomorrow night at 10pm EDT, 7pm PDT we will not broadcast live (obviously) on Gashouse Radio. If power is restored by Wednesday at 9pm EDT, 6pm PDT, we will broadcast live on Talk Story Radio and Talk Stream Live in place of the encore of our show that usually plays during that time. If no power is restored by Wednesday night, the show will be cancelled and (hopefully) resume next Tuesday, November 6th at 10pm EDT, 7pm PDT on Gashouse Radio.
