I haven’t posted in awhile but here’s a couple of pictures of three of the boys at the GQ Men of the Year [ 2017 ] Event this past weekend!

What I say: haha I hate Bill/Bev

What I mean: IT (2017) erased Beverly’s childhood feelings for Ben that were present in the novel and made his feelings for her non-mutual in order to have Bill/Bev as the straight, non negotiable romance of the film. They did this because people are more willing to accept Jaeden as a serious love interest than Jeremy. They heavily promoted Bilverly scenes in TV spots and trailers whereas Ben was only shown as the nerdy kid, to the point where I was concerned that his feelings for Bev had been cut. Even though they weren’t, they were portrayed as pathetic or funny in most scenes since the film made it clear that Bill/Bev was going to happen and Ben was sad for thinking otherwise. And even though Bev and Ben get married as adults, now it’s going to be that she developed feelings for him when he lost weight which is really harmful and gross, plus the emotional weight behind them finally finding happiness together after all that time is lost. Bill/Bev was given backstory, development, a proper kiss because why not? They LOOK just like the pairing you’d expect, the most conventionally attractive guy got the girl. Of course I think Bilverly is cute but I can’t detach the fatphobia that motivated their storyline from their relationship and I just wish that there had been a more balanced love triangle because Benverly is an important couple to me and the fact that they erased it in this film is really upsetting to people who relate to Ben (me)

→ it pisses me off so much that people are posting spoilers. like, seriously. as wyatt said, the cast and crew have worked their butts off making this movie and posting videos and pictures are disrespectful and ILLEGAL. im not logging out of this account until i necessarily have to - no ones going to force me. i literally go to my explore page and see spoilers all over. UM HATE TO BREAK IT TO YOU BUT WE'RE NOT ALL LUCKY TO SEE THE MOVIE AT THE SAME TIME OR ON THE SAME DAY. IF YOURE A REAL LOSER OR FAN YOUD KEEP THE SPOILERS TO YOURSELF. seeing all of these spoilers makes me less and less excited to see IT. wow, what a fandom we are. for those who have seen it, i suggest you delete all spoilers and keep them to yourselves. respect those who haven't seen IT yet. how many times do i have to say this to get it through your heads - WE'RE NOT ALL FORTUNATE. HATE ME IF YOU WANT IM JUST SPEAKING THE TRUTH. ANY SPOILER ON HERE SHOULD BE REPORTED BECAUSE ITS RUINING MY EXCITEMENT FOR THIS MOVIE.

RANT TIME !!! the ships in this fandom have gone way, WAY too far, and in fact, have ruined friendships between some of the kids . people shouldn't force things at them, when they know that it makes them uncomfortable . so why do it? they're kids, just kids - who're amazing and talented, and don't deserve all of this shiz that makes them feel uncomfortable . they're teens, like us . i mean, how would you feel if you were being shipped with someone who you didn't feel comfortable being shipped with? like, say, your best friend? some of these kids have even said that it makes them feel uneasy, like on livestreams . sure, ship the characters all you want! but if ship the actors / actresses, and you know it makes them uncomfortable, please, don't do it . it annoys me so much to see these people forcing these ships down the kids throats . it's okay if you ship the kids as "friends", like, y'know, you love their friendship or think that they're cute AS FRIENDS (ex. wyatt and sophia), but sexuality shipping them is disgusting and.. well, just wrong . i don't care about ships anymore, it just bothers me what people are doing to these young teens . boy, whatta fandom we are . i know i'm going to get a lot of hate for this, but honestly, it's worth it . if you're pissed at my opinions, block me, unfollow, comment all the hate . i don't give a flip . THESE SHIPS HAVE JUST GOTTEN OUT OF HAND, THAT WE'RE PROBABLY AN EMBARRASSING FANDOM . JUST THINK ABOUT IT . — not loser related but it's a caption repost from my IG (@jaedenonmars)
