The reality of Covid19 really strikes home when one of your family has it. Get better soon and hopefully we will get together soon.

🦔This looks as if it will be our last post on Hedgehogs this year as our last young lady appears to have given in to the call of hibernation and who can blame her after the atrocious conditions of yesterday (and before anyone says, yes we will continue to put out food and water for them). In our garden they were 6 days later than last year and we welcomed them back into our garden on February 21st of this year. For all the Hoggie lovers out there here is one of our favourite pictures from our garden. Jan and I wish you all a Happy Hoggie Christmas. Keep safe and well.🦔

🦔Hoggie news from our wild garden in Watton, Norfolk. Then there was one. It was a cold, wet night last night but still the feisty young lady spent a long time in the garden, eating. She is doing well, I would guesstimate, around about the recommended weight for hibernation. The only images picked up of her by our security cameras (they are the ones that give the clearer pictures) showed her travelling at the Hedgehog equivalent of 100mph (not a scientific fact) either coming towards or going from the cameras. The night time temperature are forecast as remaining low for another week, so we may well see her departure for hibernation. Happy Hoggie watching. Keep safe and well.🦔
