“oh come on,” taewoo sighs, using his elbow to nudge the man standing next to him. “i promise it’ll be fun, and you don’t have to worry too much... i’m sure there’s a certification of authenticity somewhere?” really, taewoo’s just saying that, as taewoo had no idea the actual credibility of this... thing. to him, it looked like an experience he just had to undergo -- parking lot style rollercoaster meant to be a part of the city’s pride carnival -- but to his friend? taewoo was getting the vibe that saem was thinking it’s a rickety trap of doom, bolted onto the pavement with the usual uncertainty of pop up carnivals. yet, isn’t that the point?

“listen, let loose a little, hyung. don’t be so uptight,” there’s a light slap to the other’s shoulder, accompanied by a stupid and silly grin from taewoo, “live a little. be free, and let your beloved friend, the one and only taewoo, show you just what you’re missing out on. like this beauty right here,” the hand is lifted from the shoulder to extend out towards the ride behind them, some other people in line giving the delivery boy an odd look. way to cause a scene, taewoo! “and promise. promise, if you get on this with me, i’ll let you pick the next thing we do. even if it costs me a fortune ‘cause you want a plushie from those rigged booths on the other side of this here party.” taewoo nods firmly, stepping towards the attendant as they gesture for them to get on, their turn next. “after you, okay? i’ll even hold your hand if i got to. swear.” the younger’s tongue fits between his teeth to hold back his laughter, the small tease meant to ( hopefully ) bring some ease to his friend’s mind, and help calm him of any nerves he might be having.
