Hi! My name's Rock! I may look human, but I'm actually a robot! (for rps with Babelet o-o)

The possibility of Rock not noticing the door or the small, dark figure sliding in from behind it had not crossed his mind at all, and when the younger robot startled so dramatically so did his brother. To a very lesser degree; Blues flinched backward with Rock’s flopping around the way one may an insect flying toward their face. He was quiet a moment before trying to gauge whether or not the smaller was going to let him speak.

Not that he would be presented with the chance anyway as bright eyes turned toward the minor injuries. Sighing inwardly, Blues made for his sibling. “Don’t be so loud; you’re already in trouble,” he started as he approached, “What would Light do if he caught you sneaking company in after you were already grounded?”

That teasing quickly turned to distaste however once the doctor’s name was mentioned. He grabbed Rock’s face under his jaw, trying to avoid the bandaged chin if he could, and twisted his hand to turn the other’s head in either direction. “He left you like this?”

Rock squirmed idly as Blues grabbed his face and inspected it, not out of discomfort, but because he'd been made to lie still for hours and was generally a bundle of energy. His face was an awkward mix of the usual excitement at seeing his older brother, and less commonly seen embarrassment, as he tried to nudge the catalogue back under his pillow, blushing a little. 

"W-well... I mean... he fixed the grosser stuff, you know..." Rock mumbled, launching himself into a hug with a small grunt, once his face was released. "It's supposed to teach me to take responsibility for my actions, or something. Probably because we get off easy with this kind of stuff. It's mostly okay, though!" He poked his tongue into the gap between his teeth, putting on his best happy face for his brother. 

"I hope he doesn't find out you're here, though, or I'll probably get lectured again." He sighed, rolling his eyes and trying to look annoyed instead of hurt. It was hard to say what was worse, having Dr. Light mad at him, or disappointed. They both felt pretty terrible. But now Blues was here, so things were bound to get better.

Rock? Grounded? The concept was fairly absurd in itself. Honestly, what could he, of all of them, have managed to get into? Then again it was also partly expected as he and his two sibling units had been based off of younger human minds than a lot of the others. It was only a Matter of time, wasn’t it? Although not quite the same as himself, Rock was more than capable of deciding things entirely on his own.

Still, Blues found himself staring at the little glowing screen, torn between disbelief and curiosity. Last time he’d gave Light and his siblings a visit he’d accidentally discovered Rock’s latest pastime. Teach him to try snooping right quick, didn’t it? It garnered his interest however, viewing it as a way he could keep up with his younger brother in activities of lesser importance than spiting Wily. A PDA is all Blues decided he needed as a laptop was too much; if he couldn’t stuff it into a pocket then it was thought of as too big, and this was more than enough to serve the single, and very simple purpose of checking on the smaller brunette.

It took him a few moments to decide whether or not he should reply or humour the other ‘bot. Eyes turned down briefly upon his companion as though in silent question. What was he going to do with him? His shoulders sank in a sigh. He shot a quick reply Rock’s way before departing; it was likely he’d get more answers in person than from behind a screen.

'Grounded' was something Blues kept well in mind when picking a location to transport himself to. Although he was much sneakier than Rock, and well adept at it, Light could have returned to the room to continue speaking with him or making his way back there. The thought of Rock in trouble (and not the usual 'excuse me I need to go rescue the baby' kind of trouble) might be amusing, he didn't want to get him in more.

He peered around, quickly and silently slipping into his brother’s room, and turned to flick the lock once the door was closed behind him. “Alright,” Blues started, eyeing him sharply, “What did you do?”

Rock had already received the follow-up lecture, and was sprawled out across his bed sideway, on his back with his head and feet hanging over the sides, limply. He was deeply absorbed in the magazine he was staring at, since he couldn't do much of anything else, given his punishment. 

The magazine was nothing more than an old catalogue for a department store, but Rock still found humans fascinating, though recently his interests had changed a little for some reason. Instead of looking at human clothing, or toys and electronics, he was currently browsing through the underwear section slowly, deeply engrossed. So engrossed, in fact, that he didn't realize Blues had arrived until he heard the the fateful question. 

"Blues!" He snapped, dropping the magazine on his face in his surprise and nearly toppling off the bed, shifting his balance and sitting up quickly instead, embarrassed and not sure why. His face quickly slid into a sheepish grin, covered in mild cosmetic damage after Dr. Light's quick patch up job. He'd likely receive the rest in the morning, when he'd 'learned his lesson'.

The bandaids and gauze over his nose and on his cheek and chin pulled tight with the smile, and he was missing a tooth, but seemed overwise fine for someone who had fallen three stories onto their face - being a robot had some advantages. "I... uh... I tried to sneak out, like in the movies... turns out that bedsheets aren't that good as a rope after all."

I thought maybe I was doing it wrong, and that's why you don't come home as often. :( Let's have that sleepover tonight, I'm kinda grounded, not sure if you heard the thud. Dr. Light's pretty mad, I cracked one of the bricks on the patio. It's boring in here, come visit!

Finally, he was ready for his journey! This was going to be so exciting.. he'd never been invited to go out somewhere at night like this, and with Forte and Elec, two really cool robots. On the downside, this was going to be his first time sneaking out, too. 

He cinched the sheet he'd tied around his waist tighter, on the end of a chain of tied up sheets, and glanced over at the bed, where he'd lined up pillows to look like he was in bed and covered it with a blanket. He'd learned all this from watching TV, and with so many different references of this, there was no way he could mess it up. He'd even seen little kids do this. 

He pulled the hoodie he'd decided to wear over his head to disguise him a little better - unfortunately mint green in colour, he didn't have a black one to blend in better, and made sure he had some money in his jeans pocket just in case, then hopped out the window, not realizing until the rope he'd made pulled tight the grave error he had made. 

Even though he looked like a kid, he certainly didn't  share a similar weight. With a loud riiiip and an awkward noise, he fell straight to the ground and landed on his face with a smack, right in front of the living room window, where Dr. Light was enjoying some casual reading. 

Busted.
