I always looked up to my father, because he always knew what to do or speak say. People believed in him to make change, and I wanted to do the same. I hated learned from those lengthy meetings in the city hall, but that lady, Jessica Carrolls, or what I like to remember her as the proboscis monkey, for her big, enormous, gigantic, over-sized, humongous nose she liked to stick in others business, calling it UNPROFESSIONAL my father brings me to the city hall with him. Just because I am a child. I, Aiden Dawson, am sure my mere presents always contribute more to the meetings then her-
Wait, I forgot. Damon’s waiting for me at the clubhouse. I MUST win this time, I can’t lose again to Callan, letting him win the role of president. My Dad still thinks time at the creek is a waste or “just playing” but this is serious. Callan needs to be put in his place.

Chapter One:
“Order in the hall’’
Mr. and Mrs. Dawson, star couple in the town of Woodline Hills, always lavished with the praise. No one could hate the beloved spokesman with his perfect wife, and children. Who opulently lived, but humble for view, like a two-sided mirror. The family name was perfect for centuries; nothing would dare to differ.
“Dad, I’m heading to the free lot!” yelled Aiden from his room, rushing to ready himself. He quickly shoved his book under his bed, stuffing it in a shoe box pushed far as possible from sight, and stumbled out of his room but tripped by a doll misplaced on the floor.
“Your doll again, Clementine.” said Aiden, rolling his eyes. Sighing, Aiden picked up the doll, meeting a worn faced with frizzled out hair; he tilted his head at the sight. “You still have this thing? Do you need me to inform father to get another?”
“NO! That’s Ms. Dolly. Give her back, big brother.” whined Clementine. She bounced impatiently, her brown eyes dilated.
“Clever name, but Clementine, you have to be more organized, or father will get mad.” Said Aiden. He handed the doll back and ruffled his little sister’s hair.
Clementine huffed as she swatted away Aiden’s hand, and said, “I know, I know. Just…come back. Ok?”
Aiden stiffened, but gave a quick nod, then headed downstairs. Passing several doors, he made a conscious effort to keep his head down passing one, and he glanced briefly at the door’s bold initials: R. D.
He knew better than to mope.
He continued his way without another glance. Aiden paused at the front door, looking up the stairs, hesitating. “Bye. Love you, sis.” said Aiden, finally, A smirk grew across his face as he heard the hurried steps to the top of the stairs,
“LOVE YOU TOO!” shouted Clementine as she smiled, bright. Aiden left with a reluctant smile, closing the door behind.
