you write mandy so well! do you have any specific headcanons about her?

          this  is  such  a  nice  message  that  i’m  smiling  right  now–  thank  you  so  much  !    mandy  is  definitely  one  of  my  favorite  characters,    so  let  me  start  out  by  saying:    she  deserves  the  world.    like,    she’s  no  doubt  made  mistakes  throughout  the  show,    but  i  love  this  girl.    i  mainly  think  of  her  as  someone  who  is  constantly  longing  for  something  more,    for  something  better.    i  like  to  play  her  where  she’s  reaching  a  point  that  she  realizes  her  self-worth  does  not  lay  in  the  hands  of  anyone  but  herself.    **  regardless  of  that,    she  remains  guarded–  after  facing  heartbreak  in  so  many  of  her  relationships  (not  to  mention  the  abuse  she’s  endured),  she  chooses  to  let  that  weight  remain  on  her  shoulders.  which  is  another  reason  why  mandy/ian  is  such  an  important  friendship  to  me–  she  doesn’t  hesitate  to  talk  to  her  best  friend  about  it.
