Baseball sketchnote (on site and completed) from last nights @dodgers game vs @stlouiscardinalsbaseball at Dodger Stadium. I was hanging out and sketching the “Hey Beer Guy!” When he called out to me and came over. “I was trying to figure out what you were doing – then I realized you were sketching me and the game! Awesome man!” Turns out he was a Cubs fan (Brewer’s for me) so we high fived to hoping the Dodgers beat the Cards (they didn’t), and he took a photo of my sketchnote in progress. Some objects are beautiful when new, while others beautify with use, like the iPhone 5 @patrickrhone still carries and uses daily. I was so struck by the gorgeous patina oh his little phone, that I had to capture a few shots up close to share them. If only every object we owned could age so gracefully.
