Is it just me who feels a negative energy in the Mj fandom, specifically the Michael Jackson(and various others)x reader tag, idk but I feel like ever since the AI allegations the fics haven’t been the same and there’s a constant negative surrounding it.

I personally don’t believe a list shlda been made and publicised, SIMPLY bc it’s almost impossible to tell if someone is actually using so for their writing, and it just led to everyone being falsely accused. I do think this shlda been a thing kept in DMs until actual honest proof was provided.

VERY IMPORTANT RANT

this is very unlike my normal posts but i am honestly so tired of people calling michael jackson things he wasn't when the man was unanimously acquitted in 2005, meaning all twelve jurors agreed he was not guilty on every single charge after a seventy three day trial with more than one hundred and forty witnesses and absolutely no physical evidence. the FBI spent more than a decade investigating him and found nothing at all, the accuser’s family had a proven history of lying and chasing money, multiple people who actually grew up around him testified that nothing inappropriate ever happened, and the later accusers had their lawsuits thrown out because their stories kept changing. it is genuinely exhausting watching people repeat the same lazy accusations when the legal record is right there showing he was investigated harder than almost any celebrity in history and no credible evidence of abuse was ever proven and he was found not guilty on all 10 criminal counts in the 2005 trial. this includes every allegation of m0l3station, intoxication of a min0r, and conspiracy... it takes two seconds to go look it up and here i am arguing with sad ass men in posts about him 😒fucking sad !!! i don’t tolerate any michael slander. thank you.

this has been bugging me like CRAZY lately because the actual predators in the world don’t/haven’t gotten this kind of coverage before AT ALL!! society is so pick & choosy when it comes down to topics like this because people will dogpile on Michael when he was proven innocent, yet avoid holding other people accountable for the disgusting things they’ve done/been accused of doing when there’s actual EVIDENCE to prove their wrongdoing.

it just goes to show that the media saw/sees Michael as an easy target & it’s dehumanizing that people are still being disrespectful towards him & still trying to use him for money even after his death… he truthfully never deserved any of this & i hate that he still can’t rest in peace from the repulsive things those money-hungry liars accused him of doing.

It is just me who’s noticed that in most fanfics that specify the reader being black, they tend to make the reader the “stereotypical black girl trope” where they’re aggressive, hard headed with “queen behaviour” with impractical behaviour and unnecessary outbursts.

As a black woman, I understand that yes there are black women who present like this,I’m not shaming anyone about it, not judging or anything but the lack of fics presenting black women as soft spoken, delicate, fragile women is lowk a lil concerning, because there’s a lot of us who aren’t like that, but it just seems to me that that is how we are all presented.

When the readers race isn’t specified,they’re written to be softer and more “feminine” who don’t fight, they’re shy but when they’re specified to be black it’s a whole different story.
