Finally got my very own roller skates in hopes of kickin' ass in general. And I thought it'd be fun to track my progress. I'd like to skate ramps and bowls and do crazy fun tricks in the streets in general. and maybe join the local derby. It's been years since I've really gotten to skate, so I'm rusty but ready. Skate on!

im not getting the wheels i wanted because apparently they were out of stock so it kinda made the other shit in the order obsolete but whatever. it’s the purple boots and i know nothing completely works out anyway. just can’t wait to skate!

so i did the thing.

i bought the skates, the lolly moxi skates in taffy (purple) with the sea foam wheels and honestly i’m fucking STOKED. i bought a pair of skates last summer but they’re speed skates and nothing like i wa wised to skating with plus i just wanna skate outside until i can try to roller derby. and once i get comfortable again, i’m gonna look into a slide block for local parks.

so i finally just bought them (they’re almost $300 skates for a pair) but it’ll be worth it.

Stinky Pads? White vinegar and warm water soak and then tea tree in cold water soak. Let them things dry for awhile and BAM no more gear stank! Phewww.
