As long as it's not a flame, I'll usually respond back. I do ask that you read my tags, warnings, and notes as many of my fics contain controversial genres and situations. I think there's only been three of these that I can think of, in all my years, but boy, do they still sit with me.

Terminal Lucidity by @romaine2424 Pairing: Draco x Harry Rating: G Word count: 3,169 Summary:

Harry leaves his Auror position when his dreams drive him to a new profession. One that brings peace to the soul before Death arrives.

This is more bittersweet than anything else. It's beautiful and a lovely new take on Master of Death.

When Hermione finds a way to bring Sirius back from the veil, her actions change the rest of the war. Little does she know her spell restoring him to life provokes magic she doesn't understand and sets her on a path that ends with a Time-Turner.

This is mostly crying due to canon events, but it fleshes out the Marauders characters so much that you almost forget and then everyone dies and it's heartbreaking.

Draco receives a letter. Inside is a note from a lawyer and a single, purple petal, the same color as the hyacinths his mother used to grow. This is what happens after.

Holy shit, this fic. Another interesting twist on an old trope. I sobbed reading it. I sobbed thinking about it for weeks after, and when I finally recorded it, it took me ages to get through it and you might still here me sniffling a bit. It's so beautiful and so heart-wrenchingly sad, I don't think I will ever forget it.

Why I chose it: This one is simply wow. It's one of the most atmospheric fics ever and takes place in a location you'd never expect, and has a story line you'd expect even less. It's fucking BRILLIANT.

Summary:

Draco approaches Harry on the 9 ¾ platform, after their sons have boarded the Hogwarts Express, and invites him over for tea. The discussion they have leads them on an adventure that neither could have expected. There be dragons! HPDH compliant but before any other canon info had been released.

A Christmas Drarry Fic: More Than A Legend (18K)

I'm so excited to be posting this fic. I wrote the first 5 chapters in 2009 and now with the final two chapters it is complete! And even better it's been illustrated by the amazingly talented @ihopeyoubothstaysafefromharm

The Summary is short: Harry volunteers to be Father Christmas at Hogwarts, without truly understanding what it entails.

Snippet:

The Polyjuice Potion tasted different. A hint of cool peppermint overshadowed the usual vile flavour. He gulped it down; it tingled along his throat. Draco stood before him, his head tilting to the side as his eyes narrowed. Harry was expecting to feel the physical anomaly of transformation, but there wasn't any. Instead, it was an emotion he never remembered having radiated throughout his body. It was pure joy. He brought his fingers to his face; it felt the same at first, but before a minute had passed, a short beard and moustache grew. Draco was looking perplexed.

"What's wrong?" Harry asked. "Didn't it work?"

Draco reached out with his hand. Hesitantly, his fingertips touched Harry's cheek and stroked the new beard. "You—you're glowing, and your robes changed."

Harry laughed; it didn't sound the same. It was deep and generous. "I have an aura?" he asked. He walked over to a large silver framed mirror by their wardrobe. "Green? I like it, but I don't see any glowing," he said.

Draco stepped next to him and shook his head. "No, Harry, I mean you—you're glowing like happy glowing."

A few things to keep in mind—

There will be different sets of picture prompts for Early Bird and Traditional participants, though some may appear in both.

Images are now hosted externally, so you are able to use the links provided with each prompt when inserting the pictures into the headers for your work.

Text descriptions are available and you are encouraged to also include these with the images.

The prompts will be posted in our Discord server as they have been in previous years, but alternate methods of access are available for those who do not wish to join us there. The Early Bird signup form will close on Thursday, 9 October 2025 at approximately 9pm US Central. Remember - this is a challenge - signing up to get the prompts does not bind you into participating. But if you get access to them and chose not to participate, we ask you do not share them with others or discuss them. Access to the prompts will be provided on or shortly after 12 October 2025.

The assumption is that ‘all is well’ in the British Magical world, and that Hermione Granger-Weasley will easily be voted in as the next Minister for Magic. However, Draco knows better. Fic Complete: The Azkaban Letters (Drarry and Haphne 358K)

After 2 years of writing to complete the fic I started in 2007 (1st 7 chapters), I finally finished a few weeks ago. *Whew*

Summary: Harry and Draco’s lives are headed in two different directions. One is destined for death or glory, while the other is going to Azkaban. Harry needs answers, and he goes to visit his Slytherin nemesis while being held for trial. The meetings in a barren, white cell changes Harry’s life. He learns the beginnings of his rich family history that had been denied him. And that there's much more to fight for than just ridding the world of Voldemort. HBP compliant. Complete.

More info: Rom's take on Harry finding out that he has a family estate he hadn't been privy to before being told by Draco. The fic begins right after HBP, but soon diverges with Draco being captured and being sentenced to 30 years in Azkaban.

Harry finds his lovely small Potter Castle in the Scottish Highlands and loves it very much with the exception that it's an established sanctuary for wizards and witches in which to gain entry you must have two magical parents. All is well until he's told he must produce an heir before going into battle against Voldemort to maintain the Potter bloodline and the sanctuary status of the Potter Castle. (the reverse of the Malfoy bloodline must be adhered to for pureblood purposes).

BTW it's rated Explicit but honestly there ain't much explicit sex going on.
