Râmeț Monastery, Alba County, Romania 🇷🇴

Râmeț Monastery is one of the oldest and most important Orthodox monasteries in Romania. It is located in the beautiful mountains of Transylvania, surrounded by forests and cliffs.

The monastery’s origins date back to the 13th century, although some traditions suggest it may be even older. Over the centuries, it became an important spiritual and cultural center for Romanian Orthodox Christians in Transylvania.
