This. I have not seen ANY videos/pictures/media showing destroyed buildings in israel like I have seen in Palestine. We have seen Palestine being totally leveled: bombed hospitals, houses, schools, everything. But you know what I have not seen? The same in israel. And do not even try to say "oh khamas controls israels media!!!". How? Because thats makes you sound like an antivaxxer flatearther 💀 so your opinion is automatically worthless and waste of space.

Like people make it sound like what happened on oct 7 was like The Rumbling yet I havent seen anything of that level. Yet you could think that it happened in Palestine because of all the evidence.

The craziest part of this tweet in particular is that Elisheva Ysabella Hazan is tweeting from Ottawa, in fucking Canada. Meanwhile most Gazans couldn't move in and out of the Gaza Strip freely for years even before October 7 (there's a reason it's called an open air prison). There are people in Gaza who haven't seen their family in the West Bank for 16 years because palestinans aren't allowed freedom of movement across their own borders.

Sitting in a university talking about "It's impossible to go back to normal" is so wild because, like, all the universities in Gaza have been destroyed. Some of them on purpose.

Israel isn't just breaking international law. It's creating precedent and changing it to make this violence permissible. What happens to Palestinians matters for everyone, everywhere. It sets a precedent that means no where else in the globe is safe. What more do we need to act?
