âWhat? You mean soccer moms in yoga pants arenât your thing? I donât know man there are quite a few milfâs Iâve seen around.â
âhey, man, that just means that there are more for you.â

Alexander nodded, taking in a deep breath and trying to calm his racing heart, and stop his trembling hands as he listened to the other speak, trying to stay focused on the words as the mind-numbing panic and fear began to fade. âI am s-so sorry,â he managed when he could finally speak again.
ronan shook his head. âno, donât be sorry. you didnât do anything wrong.â he wanted to hug the boyâs anxiety away, but figured that would just make it worse. âdo you wanna talk about it? or just.. i can drive you somewhere, if you want.â
alexander-stafford:
Alexander was still locked in his attack. At the felling of hands on his shoulders, he gasped loudly, holding his hands in front of his face and trying to beat back the invisible attacker only he could see, but eventually the sound of the otherâs voice broke through the haze in his brain and he met his eyes, still shaking.
ronan backed up and let the other go so that he wouldnât be hit. once they made eye contact again, ronan offered a sympathetic smile. âhey. youâre alright, see? nothinâ bad here.â he didnât know what had caused that panic attack, but he knew that trying to root the person in the present and their safety could help.
alexander-stafford:
âStop calling me a kid! Iâm â Iâm not ââ But something in Ronanâs words had resonated a little too strongly in Xander. He wanted to make things change but he was trapped and his chest was starting to feel tight. He didnât realize heâd shut his eyes but all he could see and hear in front of him was blood. All the blood. And the terrifyingly loud sound of gunshots in his ears and a hand at his throat pinning him to a wall and warning him to keep quiet and all the blood. His heart was beating so fast he could swear it was going to beat out of his chest and he couldnât breathe.
ronan froze. âhey, hey. câmere.â he looked around and gently pulled the boy away from anyone that could be watching. he gently shook the otherâs shoulders. âhey, open your eyes. look at me. look at me, kid. youâre alright.â
when ur trying to cheer your friends up bc theyâre sad
ceciliamontgomery:
â yâknow what, with all this talk of coffee shops and fat old lady asses, you owe me a fucking espresso. â
âhey! fine, fine. order your shit and iâll pay.â
oakleywinthrop:
âiâm sure it is.â she laughed, shaking her head. âyeah, for the most part. arenât your parents hella chill though?â she shrugged. âiâm just waiting âtil i graduate so i can get out of this place. iâm so done with jefferson, i donât know how people can live here forever.â
âpretty chill compared to some of the other parents around here.â he smiled. âeasier to just stay in one place, i think. you know the people, know the town. plus you can live with your parents until they kick your ass out.â
lovelyarden:
âthat sucks, being in love is the best feeling.â
ronanâs jaw tightened. âit is. until itâs not.â
eddiegj:
âyou? need a self esteem boost? nah.â
ronan grinned. âhey, even someone as amazing as me has their down days.â
fightermichelle:
âThatâs a good idea, and will definitely be my back up if i canât get through this myselfâÂ
âi donât even get why youâre trying in the first place. i havenât read a book for school in years. too much work.â
alexander-stafford:
Alexander sighed and shook his head. âNo thatâs definitely how theyâll hurt someone else. I just â I really donât want to talk about this. Can we leave it at that?â He pleaded.
âkid, look - shitâs not gonna get better if you donât do shit. if you do nothing, nothingâll change.â
alexander-stafford:
Alexander let out the breath heâd been holding as the stinging sensation faded from the wound on his face. âYes please,â he said softly, getting up to follow the other. âItâs justâŠthe situation is really complicated. If I tried to get out of it, theyâd hurt someone else and I donât want that.â
ronan lead the way to his car. âcare to explain why itâs complicated?â he raised an eyebrow. âyou could always tell someone. then they might not be able to hurt anyone else.â
evgeniisms:
âIt doesnât really matter. JustâŠsomething Iâve wondered about.â Of course, he wondered about a lot of things pertaining to his family. Heâd all but lost contact with any of them after he was put into the system. âYeah. Cool. If thatâs what you want to call it. Really, itâs pathetic. Canât stay in one place because no one wants me.â
âi think itâd be worth it to look into.â ronan smiled. âlook. itâs not âcause no one wants you. okay? get that shit outta your head. the foster system... it just fucking sucks. itâs really just luck. and you gotta remember that a lot of people do it for the cash, so youâre starting at a disadvantage with them anyway.â
âiâm JOKINGâ !!â quinn chuckled, wrapping her brother in a tight hug. she then released, with a skip in her step, she headed towards her brand new mercedesâ popping the trunk to open a fake door in the carâs interior. âsilver or gold?â the blonde asked, holding out two rolex watches.
ronan just rolled his eyes and followed quinn over to her car. he gave an appreciative whistle. âjesus, how can you afford this? where the fuck have you be-â he was cut off when he saw what she was holding, his eyes going wide. â... gold.âÂ
alexander-stafford:
âItâŠ.not that often. I can usually escape the punches pretty well. JustâŠ.bad luck this time, honestly,â he said, forcing the lie to fall easily from his lips. In a way, his history with bullies made him lucky in a way. No one would bat an eye at him being decked by one. It had happened before and it probably would happen again as well. âI appreciate the advice but it isnât that simple. I wish it was.â
ronan took a deep breath and finished cleaning up around the cut. âiâve got bandaids in my car if you want one,â he mumbled. âwhy isnât it that simple?â
Michelle sat outside of the bean with a book open in front of them, the book wasnât really keeping their interest but they knew they needed to finish it for their class. Their cigarette sat in between their fingers slowly getting smaller and smaller as the minutes passed, their coffee lay forgotten as they tried to focus. âDamn it, this book is boring as fuckâ
ronan tilted his head to read the title of the book. âouch. try sparknotes or somethinâ.â
