Yesterday, we ventured into Grafenberg Forest for the first time with my new camera while walking our dog. Along the way, we encountered a newt sitting on a tree stump, which turned out to be the perfect subject for testing out the new Cygnustech diffuser.Luckily, he was sitting still, and I had plenty of time to photograph him from different angles.
Key speciesThe Neurergus genus includes five recognized species, all considered threatened:
Kaiser’s Mountain Newt (N. kaiseri): Critically endangered.
Kurdistan Newt (N. derjugini): Critically endangered.
Yellow-spotted Newt (N. crocatus): Vulnerable.
Anatolian Newts (N. strauchii and N. barani): Vulnerable.
