“Do they burn your facial hair off?” Rosalie couldn’t contain her laugh “ I wish I could see one up close without getting toasted. You were in the bravest houses of Hogwarts, I think you can manage the beasts.”
“Yeah, a bit, I meant it as a compliment, of course.” Rosalie mimicked the other’s chuckles “Dragons really? They sound amazing, dangerous, but amazing. It’s difficult to imagine such creatures to be tameable.”
“Why wouldn’t I? Those were simpler times. And the spirit of being in a house and being proud of it was amazing. How can you not miss it?”
“A mind of it’s own?” Rosalie raised an eyebrow. “ Abby I really love you, but you freak me out sometimes.” she chuckled “Doesn’t that give you the chills?”
“Of course I have it. I’d never throw it away. I have everything packed in a box.” Rosalie raised an eyebrow, she didn’t let much emotion show towards anything, but this was harmless and it was nice to be human sometimes “You don’t have yours? “
“Man, what a beard can do... You look like... not you... someone else I guess.” Rosalie struggled to find her words “ What is it that you do? I’ve also almost died a couple of times and I’ve caught a lot of bad guys.”
“Yesterday I found my old gryffindor scarf. How I miss those days.”
At first, Hunter didn’t recognise the other but as they got close he remembered. “ damn you have changed a lot, for the better.”
Rosalie eyed the man who spoke to her, she had to do some brainwork until his face seemed familiar “Hi- I remember you, I think. You look different too, for the better. How have you been?”
Surreptitiously, Abby moved her arm as she continued to listen. Before arriving, she had been working on summoning LIGHTNING with ancient magics, and it had worked. What she hadn’t planned on was that the spirit or energy that had attached itself to her had a plucky sense of humor, and she could feel the energy building in her, wanting to give the other person a little shock. She locked her fingers together behind her, feeling them spark when she did so. “I’m sorry. What was that about a new racing broom?”
“Forget it...” Tilting her head, Rosalie could feel that her old friend had her attention elsewhere “ You seem distracted.” she simply said “What’s bothering you?”

When her parents discovered Rosalie was a witch, their views on the matter were quite different. While Rose’s mother embraced it, her father didn’t take as well. This led to their seperation. Rosalie doesn’t have any contact with both her father and sister other than christmas or birthay cards.
“I’m sorry, I don’t really function before coffee and I’m still drinking it so… No thinking from me yet.”
Rosalie raised an eyebrow and glared at the man. By the way he spoke elaborately about something as simple as coffee, Rosalie could assume many things and some were not at all, but she chose not to express any of them. "What a shame." she simply said, not bothering to hide the sarcasm from her words. "It's also a shame that it bothers you enough to judge."

Rose returned the smirked. Kristen was practically waiting for her to make her move. She knew that in a combat she wasn’t supposed to give her opponents what they want, but Kristen wasn’t an enemy. Thrusting her sword forward, Rosalie was already expecting that her move would be predicted and therefore blocked. “I’ve been here for sending time. And before that I spent some good time in a boarding school. I had to entertain myself.”
Kristen side stepped and put her sword in front of her to try to block the sword but it ended up grazing against her side. “A boarding school, huh? Yeah that sounds boring.” Kristen laughed. “Though most things sound boring to me.” She said as she took a step towards the girl.
"It really was boring." Rosalie moved instinctively, taking a step back "Well, am I boring you?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.

As soon a free refill was mentioned, there was a new spark in her Rose’s eyes and the corner of her lips lifted up into a smile. “ Really? Are you sure? I don’t want you to be downgraded from your nametag to the Sarah one for giving free refills.”
He laughed, shaking his head resolutely. “I’m not going to get busted down for giving a free house brew away,” he said. “If you had all the bells and whistles, MAYBE, but lucky for me, the oh-so-kind lady who humored the oh-so-bored barista has a simple coffee order.” Eli picked up the carafe of the simple house brew, shaking it enticingly. “Want some?”
"Did I humored you? I'm glad. " rosalie gave the other a small smile and tried not to laugh at the fact that someone just called her a lady "Of course... Can't really say no to coffee or a to such a good person. And you say that I'm the nice one. And thanks."

“It’s just that I’ve never seen you here.” Rosalie spoke quietly and shrugged “ Nah, coming to the library is always a good thing. There’s a ton of stuff that you can do around other than study.”
“You mean like laying down on this couch and taking a nap?” He asked with a smile. “Libraries have never been my thing.” He said. “I was… am… more of a sports guy.”
Rosalie didn't hold her laugh when it came. "I'm sorry, I'm not laughing at you." she assured the other as she covered her smile with her hand "Yeah I guess you could take a nap. There's amazing stories around here. I like the crime ones. It's always fun to try to figure out who did it before the author reveals it."
rosalie-moore:
Rose couldn’t help but laugh “Okay, I get it. Just hearing about it made my head turn.”
Gabe smiled apologetically. “I’ve been staring at this for way too long and it’s making no sense at all. I - I think I need a break.”
Rosalie show the other a reassuring smile "It's fine. You do need a break. I'm in need of a good cup of coffee, what do you say? They also have tea, I believe."

“Me and boredom are not the most fortunate combination.” Rosalie smirked down at her file before putting it down. “You can say that again… I think the latest I’ve got out was like 3 am on a day shift. Which sucks.” the girl sighed “Of course. We wouldn’t want you to fall asleep, would we? You might even give the wrong meds to the poor patient.”
“I think that I am quite aware of that.” Max chuckled lightly. “3 AM? You can’t keep doing that, did you at least go in to one of the rooms to nap?” He asked raising a brow. “And it’s such a loooong walk.” He said stretching out the o as if it really was a long walk. “Please make sure I don’t do that, I might end up really hurting someone.”
"Of course. I have my special places where I always take my secret power naps." she whispered with a smirk playing on her lips. Rosalie chuckled at Max's exaggeration while looking down at the corridor they'd have to walk. "It's like crossing the desert." she pointed with a smile still on her lips. "Don't worry that's what women are made for. Making sure men don't screw up."
