So I was walking to the bus and the first bird, small, flew right past me at a close proximity, and I went “Haha wow. That was pretty close!”

And then I took 5 more steps and a seconds bird, of same variety, dashed out in front of me, closer, and I went “Haha wow. That was really close! Two times in a row? That’s crazy. I bet tha-”

And then a THIRD BIRD fucking SHOT DIRECTLY AT MY STOMACH AND NARROWLY MISSED, and I went “THEYRE FUCKING AIMING AT ME. FUCK YOU” and twirled around and gave it the bird, because it was a bird.

Ok, so. Ummm... Well, based on what I'm guessing you're actually talking about, it sounds more like immature idiots on the internet were continuing to be mean about your self-shipping preferences, right? Which in that case, yeah, those people weren't being very nice at all. They were very mean. But I wouldn't say they're representative of the entirety of the queer community, which is what you're attributing those actions to. From my experience, the queer community is large enough that there's always niches of wildly different takes, but, as a generalisation, isn't as mean as your experiences have been as of late. (And if I were to say something kinda controversial here… I think you kind of just found a hateful online shipping niche, actually. People tend to be weird about shipping online, even more-so about self-shipping)

And if you're talking about things in general - an ally simply refers to someone who respects and is chill with people being queer, and that does sound like you. But being an ally doesn't mean you have to support people being assholes, even if they're queer, though. You can just not like people who are mean. And that's entirely fine! You're allowed to get annoyed at people constantly trying to call you out for a harmless ship or complaint!

So in short - The group of meanies you found were pretty 'nuts', yeah, but I wouldn't say they're representative of the entire lgbtq+ community at all, and dare I say? If they're being mean about preferences, that's not very accepting or nice of them either! And fair enough, you're allowed to get mad at that. And also being straight literally is fine??? With every day that passes the more I hate fandom wiki. I don't know much about Kid Cosmic (The Show), so I had to search it up, and the trivia section on the fandom reads "Kid [...] are the completely autism", followed with "led some to speculate Kid may be on the autistic spectrum" which??? First of all, repeated and redundant information, and second of all, the initial statement is grammatically incorrect. And third of all, is it that noteworthy to list twice? And fourth, the contrast between "completely autism" and "led [...] to speculate" is very interesting. Anyway, the show seems pretty cool, and I hope I did him well. I tried finding levitating and floating gifs but couldn't find any so uh. This is the next best.
