applying the feedback - I looked at the script again and highlighted the important words. Circled words are key points I want to emphasise; Underlined words mimik the tone of the speaker’s voice and how she takes ‘breathes within a sentence. The structure is broken up into 6 sections, a new paragraph for each new point the speaker makes. I continue this theme into my AE composition, and edit within the 6 segments now.

Disney’s 12 principles of Animation - how I can use these techniques to better my own animation
I researced a variety of different backing tracks and audio files to compliment my speech and decided to purchase an ambient farm background noise to play subtly throughout the entire 39 second clip. I also purchased key sound clips such as the shears effects and a sheep to represent the main character, Shrek. I was advised to purchase a quality royalty free track offline so that my work may be more professionally presented. I did ask some musical friends to help me out but it became a bit too stressful - purchasing online was fast and very effective.

Listening to this very simple audio was a refresher for me in this kinetic type project for it helped me to remember the power in sound effects and emphasis. Simple elements introduced like clanging of chimes and emphasis on the “uh-oh” type language gave some good direction for me to use in my own animation.
The simple kinetic type transitions in this clip will be a good key for me to focus on in my animation because they are still effective while not being too crazy. They reflect the tone of the speakers speech in both content and speed
