so sorry for the lack of activity !!  my mental is going up and down and i’ve been generally not in the mood to roleplay. i have a somewhat busy weekend ahead of me, but i’ll give it another try tomorrow night. <3

“ since you’re so brave , ” the raveclaw spits out , an eyebrow slightly raising towards the other who’s been boasting over something riley hasn’t made too much of an effort to keep track of , but he knows he’s a bit annoyed . the great hall was already loud , and the last thing he wanted to deal with was an overconfident wannabe . “ i dare you to go into the forbidden forest . ”

             the hufflepuff let out a loud ( and exaggerated ) laugh and wrapped her scarf tighter around her neck. “oh come on, i’m not dumb. why would i go there by myself ?!” with an eyeroll maeve sighed and pushed her fist slightly at riley’s arm. the woman knew she could get annoying, especially when she wanted to test out new methods on someone. “ ━ i only said that i’m confident in turning you hair blue, or any other color you’d like, with a simply spell. ask hannah, she loves her pink strands !” lips were pressed together for a short second and teeth sank into the bottom lip. “they won’t fall out this time, i promise ...”

         CONCERN was still written all over his face; dangerously close of storming out and fighting everyone who let this happen. it only stirred the hatred against this club sitting directly across the street. 

        eyes wandered briefly over her shaken body, not quite knowing HOW he could comfort harley more than letting her rest here until she was comfortable enough to leave. however chris’ face rapidly softened at her words and he immediately shook his head in disagreement. harley wasn’t a BURDEN  (  and she’d never be  ━  the bar would always be open to her ). his hand touched her shoulder carefully; once again making sure that she wasn’t dramatically hurt. if she’d only TELL him who it has been, chris would hunt him down in one night. creature of the night or not. he’d regret hurting harley.

         swirling a chair around to sit across the woman, chris crossed his arms loosely above the backrest. fingers fidgeting with the rings around them. “it’s okay, don’t worry about that. you’re always welcomed here.” the blond man assured with a little smile, which faded ever so quickly. “do you want me to take you to the hospital ? maybe they should check up on your wrist.” index finger pointed at the bloody wound as his other hand pulled out a clean cloth, which he offered her. for a second his eyes were practically glued to the abnormal looking wound. it didn’t look like a regular wound from a fight.

         taking in a deep and audible breath, chris brushed through the gelled back hair and moved his look back into harley’s face. “either way i’m not going to LEAVE you alone tonight. i can take you home too, if you want to. you can stay here, of course until we close. just tell me, okay ?”
