whoa, slow down there. the paint i have here ain’t from trolls, sister. i guess if we are cutting that chase guy we might as well be all up and honest with each other and the honest word is i’m all out of troll blood to be using for painting if i want any other color than indigo.

but when the pictures show up in my thinkpan all vibrant and bright i have to paint it and make sure the picture stays with me, you get what i’m laying down, little human? even if it was troll blood and even if i knew whose it was i wouldn’t stop.

if i all up and cared about those disbelieving sacks of blood i would still have to paint with something.

i’m the healthiest a body could ever be with this blood running through my veins. the paint i’m using right now is from a wildbeast, so you can calm yourself right the motherfuck down.

Right, then. Well I would advise against hurting yourself if you're ever in need of a color that matches your blood. Just for future reference.

You can't honestly be convinced that a mind like yours is healthy, though. Not that I mean too much offence, by that. I'm just under the impression that if you would honestly consider using the blood of your loved ones for the sole purpose of painting a few pictures for the sake of remembering them, then there is certainly something wrong with you. Painting pictures from practical visions in itself is a mildly disturbing topic, in actuality.

I'm aware that there are a few occurrences in which you murdered the rest of your team before Karkat was able to pacify you, however. Which seems to be what you're implying here, if you don't mind my cutting to the chase. And I'm assuming your "painting" is in the blood of your friends, then? Former friends, really, if that's the case. Or perhaps acquaintances would fit them better if you didn't care enough to keep them alive. I might as well be the one to suggest that you should probably stop keeping yourself busy with that activity, if at all possible.

you don’t know the half of it. once i wrote a biology report and tried incorporating ectobiology into it somehow. luckily i noticed it quickly enough.

Oh, but surely, referring to the heir of an entire company by merely his first name is a sin on one level or another. It's certainly a strange topic. Funny that it's become such a normal word in our vocabulary, too. Or at least that it has in mine, at least. I don't imagine many people would know what I was referring to if I brought it up in casual conversation.
