out of all my characters, rose is me- that’s what attracted me to her in the first place, and that’s what has made me stick with her for two years (two whole years, srsly). she’s the one most like me and the one i’ve always been able to come back to, albeit some muse problems every now and again. it pains me to see her go, but right now, it’s what’s best for both me and her. i’ve run out of ideas, i don’t know what i’m doing with her anymore and nothing & no one is helping? and i realized, i was happy letting her go, and i wasn’t gonna be happy keeping her and not playing her to her full potential. 

this isn’t the last time rose wynters will grace the dash, mark my words. in a few months time i already know i’ll be missing my bb, and i’ll want her back- and i’ll bring her back, no issue. she’s always grown alongside me, so by then, she could well be a v different person. but tbh right now this is best option, especially considering the huge hiatus i’ll be going on in may (to halfway through june). 

in my mind, she doesn’t run away this time. she doesn’t even leave school immediately. rose sticks around for the next few weeks, in the background, not doing anything of note. she takes pretty lengthy breaks tho, and she starts to slowly but surely mend her relationship w her mom so that she’s able to go home a lot, too. tbh the point of this paragraph is just to say that im not playing her anymore, but in my mind, rose isn’t gone, bc eventually i’ll be bringing her back anyway.

You should just be happy you got a room-- you know, I’ve heard horror stories about people who arrived and didn’t have a bed for weeks cause of overcrowding,” of course, she hadn’t really, but Rose wasn’t about to admit the lie to Irene. “Ok, a ton of posters. Cover the walls with them like wallpaper, and who needs paint? Not Irene Bjorgman,” she was a little exasperated, and it maybe showed in her tone of voice, but for the most part she was trying to be helpful, “D’you want me to go to home depot with you? We could schedule a visit for right after your luggage is all sorted.”

“What couldn’t be fun about it? Being able to manipulate the weather sounds like a wonderful power if you ask me. What issues do you have with it? Supreme leader Asteria? That would be an interesting alternative, I could have a castle made of computers, that would be the real dream. As tempting as that sounds, I think I’ll leave the leadership to people who set good examples and who are actually good at igniting faith in others. Um computer pixels. Unfortunately, quite alot of my images  and ideas of the world have been perceived through pixels, but that’s changing slowly but surely. I’m just going to have to hope it’s still out there when we can leave or after we escape. I mean, surely they could not have locked every window or door, we could always make our way to a different section and make an escape through that way. ‘He’s a pirate’? It’s why I have these,” she held up her hands, covered in their fingerless gloves, and made a face, “Helps. A castle of computers sounds amazing, actually. Could I be your loyal knight or something, since I gave you the supreme leader idea? Darn, ok. Maybe you could get into game design-- use all your images and ideas, but in a virtual world. Oh, true. I doubt they’d have had time yet, so we’ll just have to cross our fingers and hope. You’ve gotta! Anything can be achieved when he’s a pirate is playing in the background, honestly.”

No I don’t mind at all, I have the power of data manipulation as well as technology manipulation; they aid each other in a way though I am still trying to come to an understanding of the later. Exactly, I think we’d be lucky to find one, the spoons might in fact be the fastest option of escape, unless we try our luck climbing through air vents, similarly to many adventure films. “That’s about right, yep. I get all the joy of Winter, except all year ‘round. It’s not as fun as you might think. Oh-- tech manipulation, that sounds so cool. Considering how tech based our entire world is at this point... you could probably take over someday, supreme leader Asteria. Right, of course, computer pixels. Without knowing your powers, that was almost confusing, but knowing what you can do makes it a lot more understandable. Huh, I never thought about the air vents. I wonder would it work... or if it’d even be possible to get anywhere through them. Have you ever heard ‘he’s a pirate’? That’s the exact kind of music we’d need to get us through it.”
