I think it’s kinda weird I ship Jatherine, but like... in a short term sense.

Like, I can see them as a couple who would date for a while and have fun but not the sort of couple that would end up married and stuff like that in the long run. But I think they’d remain good friends afterwards.

No matter what a post on tumblr tries to tell you, your moral and ethical stances will never be determined by what you reblog and what you scroll past. Don’t let manipulation tactics force you into doing anything you don’t want to do.

I find it very interesting to note the times in which this post has a sudden resurgence. It often follows very stressful, upsetting events, where a lot of “REBLOG THIS OR YOU SUCK” posts start appearing on this site. 

So I’ll say it again: it is okay if you come to tumblr to escape upsetting news. It is okay if you’re just here for fun and fandom. It is okay if you do not want to use your tumblr as a place to read about or spread the current events that are circulating. It is okay if you need a place to decompress and just relax. There are other ways to be involved in/support causes and you are allowed to set boundaries on social media platforms without it being indicative of your belief systems. 

Your beliefs, values, ethics, and moral stances are not determined by whether or not you reblog something.

this is like the third time i've deleted tumblr but suddenly remembered your acc in the middle of night, so i go on safari to see if you've posted recently and then end up redownloading the app so i can turn on your notifications lol anywho, dunno if you finished your finals yet but i hope all went well and you're staying happy&healthy! 🤗♥️

You have no idea how much this means to me. I have one or two accounts that I go back to even when I step away from tumblr and to be that for someone else? Lovely, I could honestly cry.

Finals went well, I managed to pass all of my classes with flying colors (if you ignore the two I just plain dropped out of lol) so that’s a huge relief. My family and I are all safe and healthy for the time being and I hope things are okay for you too.

“We are running out of milk!” Darcy calls from the kitchen and you groan back. 

“God, I hate black coffee,” you grumble, apparently loud enough for him to hear you because he quickly responds.

“Maybe someone shouldn’t have got sick then?” There’s some more noise from the kitchen, cabinets opening and closing and ceramic bouncing around, and then his voice comes again, much closer this time.

“I made you some tea,” he announces, sounding like he’s right outside.

“Thank you, precious,” you say. He laughs, but the door doesn’t open.

“But I am not coming into your room, I’ll leave it out here.” You hear him set the cup down in the hallway. “Hope you feel better soon, treasure.”

“If you cough on me I will end you,” Spot threatens, holding a hand up as he backs away.

“Come give me a hug, baby!” You laugh, reaching out for him, chasing after him when he takes off running.

“You get your nasty plague germs away from me!” He shouts back. He’s fast, but you’re catching up quick, cackling all the way.

“We should do what they did in Edinburgh,” you say, breaking the silence of the living room. Emmett looks up from his reading, frowns as he reads the title of the book you’re holding, and cocks his head to the side a little.

“Which was?” He asks slowly, obviously worried about the answer.

“Anyone who was sick got bricked into their homes and left to die,” you reply promptly. He frowns a moment longer he just frowns at you, but when his eyes slide to the left you can see he considers it for a moment before shaking his head.

“Better not,” he finally says. “It would exacerbate the housing crisis.” And then suddenly you’re both laughing and your reading is abandoned as you go back and forth debating the pros and cons between bouts of giggles.

“Get your hands off my desk, Kelly,” you deadpan, not even glancing away from your computer to look at him.

“Oh, come on, Doll. Whatcha reading?” He asks, resting his chin on his hand as he leans his elbows on your desk. Technically his hands are off.

“Your record.” It’s a lie and you both know it, but he scoffs dramatically anyway.

“All my dirty secrets,” he gasps before breaking out into a grin again. “Impressed?”

Seriously, those of you who send requests and then don’t even read them, are you aware of how bad it makes us writers feel?

I’m salty because lately I see lots of disrespect towards writers, so many of you think that writing is just hitting one button on our keyboard and there, request done, fic written, it takes 0.5 seconds. And no, it’s not like that at all.

So many of us spend so many hours thinking of ideas, writing them down, editing them so you aren’t disturbed by any typos while you read, and all for what? So you send the same request to 70 writers and then complain if they don’t answer it immediately? Or you send a request and when it gets answered you don’t even bother to read it, not to mention like it and reblog it and tell the writer that you read it and what you think about it?

I’m so tired of this already. I’m so tired of how writers are disrespected and taken for granted. In the same way we take HOURS of our free time to give you a fic that you can’t write yourself, we expect some sort of payment or reward or whatever you want to call it. And many times, instead of seeing this as a service we give you and a LUXURY, because yes, it is a luxury to have someone write what you want to read so you don’t have to make the slightest effort (let others make the effort for you), instead of seeing it like that, you think this is your basic right, and it shows how arrogant some readers are. You give NOTHING in exchange, NOTHING, not even hitting a button, and still you think you have the right to complain.

But what have you done for your writers? Seriously, what have YOU done? They’ve spent HOURS writing this, sometimes even days. How many SECONDS have YOU spent to thank them?

I’m exhausted. This attitude has made me hate being a writer, has made me doubt my own skills and makes me reconsider every single day whether I should keep writing or just give up and never share a single fic ever again and just write for my own damn self and if you want to read any fic? Write it yourself.

I am in fact alive! Thank you for asking, lovely, and I’m sorry it took me so long to respond. 

I promise that I’m getting everybody’s requests and I will start working on them soon, but this week and next week are finals for me and taking my college courseload online has been kind of a mess so it has needed my full attention. 

As soon as my exams are over and my essays are turned in, I promise I’ll be back to posting regularly! Until then, feel free to keep requesting things😊💜
