Sasuke considers Sakura one his best friends. They were quite close. She is his closest female friend. They've been friends since they were trainees. But they've become even closer when they were put in the same idol group—the first coed group of their company.
To be fair, Sakura as the only girl in the group, probably is also Naruto's and Sai's closest female friend.
But neither of even them were as close to Sakura as he was. They just have many similar interests and they understand each other. They could talk about absolutely anything under the sun, even Sasuke's sex life.
But now that he thought about it, they had never talked about Sakura's sex life.
It wasn't really weird. She was a girl, and girls generally don't just talk about that with guy friends. And it wasn't like he could just ask her. He doesn't want to seem perverted. And how would you even ask about that in the first place? It probably would have been a weird conversation, however it happened if it would happen, so it probably was just normal that they don't talk about it.
But right now Sasuke was just very curious. He realized that he had just assumed she didn't have a sex life, (at the moment, at least) because they never talk about it. Sure, she sometimes talks about boys who're sending her gifts or trying to court, but they were rare times and often just offhanded comments.
But when he saw what he saw...
Sasuke frowned.
Sasuke had had relationships, of course. About two serious, some flings, fewer one night stands and even random one time make out sessions every now and then.
So he knew about those things. He knew what he saw in her things.
It was lingerie.
It was red, lacy, strappy, very thin and very sheer, and just wouldn't cover anything.
He knew girls have one of those and wear them when they want sex. He'd been with enough girls to know that. He'd seen girls from the clubs looking for one night stands and wearing one of those.
But he really hadn't thought Sakura would have one of them, too.
Not that she wasn't attractive or it was unimaginable that she'd want sex but...
He really didn't know why but it just bothered him.
How long had she had it? Have she worn it before? And most importantly, if yes, for whom? And why did she bring it today? Did she have a date tonight? And again, who?
Sasuke tried to remember if Sakura mentioned any guy she was seeing recently but can't really recall. She hasn't even mentioned any recent gifts from anyone. She hasn't mentioned any guy, period.
So why..?
It was an accident when he saw it. Sakura was on her layout with Sai when Kakashi, their manager, asked him to get her cooler from her bag. And that's when he saw it.
Is she maybe keeping some things from him now? Not that she can't, but she never had. They've never kept anything from each other before.
Sasuke was really bothered. But he can't just ask her about it, can he? She didn't even know that he saw it.
But when they wrapped up the shoot, she said she would be going home. She didn't have a date.
And for the next few weeks he never saw it again. (He wasn't proud of it, but he always checks for his peace of mind. Probably not something Sakura would appreciate if she knew so he's keeping just that one a secret.)
So maybe it was just a gift? Maybe Sakura didn't even use it the way other girls do? Maybe she doesn't even use it at all.
Sasuke had almost forgotten about it until one night, after an endorsement shoot, Sakura mentioned to the whole group that she would be going out with her ex.
This didn't really came as a surprise for Sasuke. She had been mentioning the guy for a few weeks now, sharing that he was trying to reconnect with her and she was deliberating on seeing him again.
Naruto was against it. He'd always been admittedly overprotective of Sakura. (They all were, but he's just the loudest about it.) Sai didn't seem thrilled about it, too, but didn't object. Sasuke didn't really comment on it, not really seeing anything wrong about it.
Not until he saw it.
It somehow came as a shock to him when he had noticed that she was wearing the lingerie just as she said goodbye to them.
He watched her go with trepidation. It was really bothering him, so he took up Naruto's invitation to go out, too. But even that didn't distract him from worrying. All night, he was just preoccupied with what must be happening that even his friends were starting to complain.
He didn't know why he felt that way. It wasn't like they were together. He didn't think he even like her like that. But it was just...
Sakura has always been different to him. She is his best friend. So it was maybe natural that he's reacting like this? Maybe that was it?
And she is just different, period. She isn't the type of girl who would go for one night stands or casual sex. She's the type who'd you'd formally court, give flowers to, introduce to your parents. He just couldn't reconcile how he knew Sakura to a girl who'd have sex with a guy on the first date—even if he was an ex.
(He tried to ignore the small part of his mind telling him that maybe all this time he'd been thinking he was hers all along—whatever that might mean.)
Sai had started asking if he was okay. He honestly just wants to say yes, but he knew he wouldn't buy it. He was in the middle of telling him a made up story when his phone rang.
It was Sakura.
Without even turning back to Sai, he answered the phone.
"Hello?"
"Sasuke." She said and Sasuke froze. There was something in her voice that he knew at once she wasn't okay. She sounds as if she had been crying. She sounded broken.
"Sorry, but can you pick me up?" She asked in a little voice.
"Tell me where." He said at once, already gesturing at the boys that he had to go, without offering an explanation.
Sakura gave her a name of a street, not a restaurant or any other place. And this worried Sasuke even more. He realized that it was too quiet in the other line. He tried not to think of the implications and just concentrated on getting to her as quickly as possible.
Traffic was mercifully smooth that night and he got to where Sakura was in just about fifteen minutes.
As soon as Sakura saw him, she ran to him and hugged him and started crying. Sasuke was still confused about what happened but did his best to try and comfort her. He ushered her back to the car, into the backseat where both of them can sit. And for a while, he let her cry.
When she was starting to calm down, he finally asked.
"What happened, Sakura?"
But Sakura just shook her head, still not looking at him. Sasuke frowned.
"Want me to kick his ass?" He asked next. He didn't know what happened but he was sure it was his fault.
Sakura shook her head again.
"I just wanna go home." She told him.
Sasuke released a sigh but nodded. Sakura is first priority.
"To the dorm, please, Sasuke." Sakura said. "I don't want my parents seeing me like this." Seeing as Sakura was the only girl in their group, Sakura mostly stay at her family's home. But she does have her own room in their dorm.
"Okay." Sasuke just say. "Take a rest for now." He then he moved to the driver's seat.
The drive was quiet and Sasuke had assumed Sakura had fallen asleep. When they arrived at their dorm, Sasuke went to the backseat again to wake Sakura up.
They were also quiet as they went up to their dorm.
Sakura seems to be deep in her own thoughts, and Sasuke was just watching her, still worried.
Sakura opened their dorm and entered. Sasuke reluctantly followed her inside. Sai and Naruto still wasn't home, which probably was a good thing. Sasuke didn't really wanna explain to them what happened, when he didn't know either.
He didn't really know what to do. He was still worried and didn't really want to leave Sakura alone.
Sakura went straight to her room and left Sasuke in the living room without saying anything. After about five minutes of just standing there and waiting, Sasuke's worrying got the better of him and she followed Sakura to her room—only to see her removing her top.
Sasuke hastily closed her door but then frowned. She wasn't wearing the lingerie. She wasn't wearing any underwear. He was sure she was wearing it when she left for her date earlier.
'What the fuck did that asshole do?' He thought angrily.
He felt awful but decided to just wait for Sakura in the living room. She should know he would be there, anyway. It's not like he'll leave it just like that.
After about another ten minutes, Sakura finally returned to the living room. He was wrong, she looked a little surprise to see him there. She might have thought he'd be in his room now.
"What really happened, Sakura?" He asked seriously.
Sakura sighed but took a seat besides him.
"I'm sorry for worrying you. And I'm sorry for disturbing your night out with the others." She said first but Sasuke ignored that.
"What did he do?" He asked again, touching her chin and making her look at him.
Sakura sighed again, and turn her eyes away from him.
"We were kissing." She started saying and Sasuke now wasn't sure if he wanted to hear it. But he didn't say anything and just let her talk.
"He... he wanted to go further." She said.
Sasuke hand made a fist. Still, he didn't say anything, waiting for Sakura to finish.
"But I didn't want to. I told him no. And that we were moving too fast. We'd only just started talking again a few weeks ago and this was our first date after a long time." She said. "But then he said I was just playing hard to get, and that if I didn't want something to happen then why did I wear—well, I was wearing this lingerie." She explained.
Sasuke felt awful and also guilty. Because that was what he thought, too. But he ignored this first.
"Did he force himself to you?" He asked in a quiet whisper.
Sakura looked teary again and Sasuke clenched his teeth.
"He tried to go further but I didn't let him. Well, he managed to unhook my bra but that's all. But I was really scared so I just pushed him away and ran." She said, still not looking at Sasuke.
Sasuke closed his eyes, trying to control his anger. He gently pulled Sakura to himself to try and comfort her and to calm himself.
"Don't you ever talk to him again. And don't let me see him, either. I might not be able to control myself." He told her.
"I'm sorry." Sakura said.
"You have nothing to be sorry about. You didn't do anything wrong. He's a douchebag and he's not worth it." He told her.
"Is that how men think?" Sakura asked after a while, her head still leaning on Sasuke's shoulder.
"Hm?"
"That if a girl is wearing a lingerie, she's asking for sex?" She asked him, pulling away to look at him.
"I... yeah, I guess so." Sasuke said guiltily. "Uhm, why were you wearing a lingerie, anyway?"
"I bought it a few months ago when... well, there was this hater..." She said but trailed off. "Anway, I bought it then and I wear it whenever I want to..."
Sasuke waited, curious.
"Don't laugh, okay?" She said firstly. "I wear it whenever I want to feel pretty. I didn't wear it tonight for Yuya. I wore it for me." She said with a sigh.
"But you already are pretty." Sasuke said stupidly, quite surprised at what she said. He didn't think about that. He doesn't think she needs anything to feel pretty. She's always been pretty.
Sakura ignored what he said, though.
"Do you think I was wrong for doing that?" She asked.
"No. Of course not. Men are stupid." Sasuke just said, not really knowing what else to say.
He knew should have known better. He knew Sakura the best. Even though he didn't think she needs it, it was really something Sakura would do.
What he said made Sakura smile, though. "Including you?" She had to ask.
Sasuke shook his head, smiling a little now, too. "Not anymore."
---
That incident somehow brought them closer. They were best of friends, and Sasuke thinks she probably knew him best—even more than his guy best friends do (yes, Naruto and Sai, but he'd never admit it to them or anyone else, not even Sakura).
Sasuke hadn't heard about the douche ever since—which was probably a good thing even though he still wanted to hurt the guy.
And he didn't see Sakura wearing the lingerie anymore, for a long time. (Or maybe he just doesn't notice it. He stopped trying to look. It wasn't okay.)
That was until one time, he had accidentally saw her changing for her next scene in their music video.
They had work the whole night and he was sure she didn't have a date. So he guessed she just wanted to feel pretty.
After that, there were more times when he noticed she was wearing one (it seems she had more lingeries now)—but he just ignored it.
Maybe she just found out she likes wearing them. It didn't have to mean anything. He didn't want to be a guy who thinks everything a girl does is for a guy.
When he had formally started courting her (after some failed attempts at matchmaking by Naruto, and a few actually successful plans of getting him drunk enough to confess how he feels for their female member by Sai), he noticed even more often that she was always wearing a lingerie.
He's really trying not to notice, but he's in love with her now. He just notice everything about her. He was just careful not to assume anything. He wants to be a better guy. For her.

They were in Hokkaido to film a part of their group's Documentary series, and Sasuke was very conscious that Sakura was wearing yet another lingerie because at the moment, they were making out.
They had done filming for the day, and while Naruto and Sai went out to explore, he and Sakura opted to stay in their hotel. And one thing lead to another and here they are.
Still, he tried to ignore the lingerie. He was turned on as fuck but he's repeatedly telling himself she was only wearing it to feel pretty.
Sasuke could only watch when Sakura removed her shirt and pants.
And for the first time, he saw her in only a lingerie.
It was lilac, was sheer and see-through, with a lot of strings and paired with a lacy panties and stocking.
"You look pretty." He told her stupidly.
"Sasuke, I'm not wearing this to look pretty." Sakura said, trying not to laugh.
"Uhm, okay." Sasuke just say. He was still staring at her body.
Sakura shook her head at him, smiling in amusement. She then moved her hands to her back and unhooked her bra. Sasuke was just watching, mouth gaping.
"Sasuke, I'm removing it not for me, but for you." Sakura said, in a tone of someone telling a kid that one plus one is equal to two.
Sasuke just kept staring.
Sakura laughed and let the bra fall. She moved closer to Sasuke and put her arms around his shoulders.
"Sasuke, you dork, I'm telling you I want you." She told him.
"Oh." Sasuke said. "Well, it's better that we're clear, right?"
Sakura smiled. "I guess so." Then she kissed him. They didn't talk for a while.

Communication is key, Sasuke had found out. And with Sakura, he never have to guess because she tells him straight whatever it is she wanted.
She didn't need to use a lingerie to ask him for sex. (Usually, she'd just remove everything and he'd get a clue or she'll just say it directly.)
They were going on three years now, and Sakura had more lingeries than ever. And she was confident to wear some of them even outside their bedroom (though of course, her best ones are only for his eyes—he's not assuming, she said this herself).
Sasuke enjoys them but still think she doesn't need them to feel pretty, and most of the time, Sakura agrees with him now.
To Sasuke, she's prettiest whatever she does or whatever she wears (or don't wear), anyway.
