Pas De Cheval - 11/10. It’s so fun. I keep saying this, but Pretty Odd is just such a fun album. Look at the boys playing. Making all kinds of music. Also Ryan is clear in one line. I love his harmonies. 🤤
The Piano Knows Something I Don’t - 10/10. Such a slow start, a beautiful one, obviously, but it ends up so jaunty and mysterious… fuck yeah. I love beat switch ups. The trumpets are awesome.
Behind The Sea. - ♾️/10. My golden boys voice loud and proud. So soft and sweet and honest and adorable. Ryan baby you sing so sweet. I can’t take it. This song is so adorable. I’m crying. She Had The World - 10/10. I think they wrote this about someone who wasn’t born yet. I won’t tell you if it’s me or someone else, but it’s one of the two. It’s just hauntingly familiar. It’s gorgeous, too. Such an evil fucking song LOL. (Ryan baby here. Ryan ryan Ryan. He’s so cute in this song. All of his vocals feel.. shy. He has a sweet voice.)
From A Mountain in the Middle of the Cabins - 11/10. I love to listen to this song on the beach. The water and sand make it really nice. Or when I’m walking through forests. Such a good song. I think this would make a really good needle drop in film.
Mad As Rabbits. - 10/10. I like the stuff he does with his voice here, too. And then there’s RYAN. Sweet fucking Ryan. He sounds less shy here. It’s so cute. I love how much he features here.
