"it's just the two of "but there was
us against the world" once a time"
Alastor: Sooo the 2020s, is Art Deco back?
You: No
Alastor: Charleston?
You: no
Alastor: Anarcho syndicalism?!
You: unfortunately, no
Alastor: Zut! Then what made a comeback?!
You: Impending economic devastation and rise of fascist ideologies in politics.
Alastor:....why are people like this?
"Zut!" Is like "damn it" in 🥖 🍷 🧀
Alastor finds "Steamboat Willie" to be the most hilarious piece of media since 1921 "The Kid" starring Charlie Chaplin.
Steamboat Willie besides introducing Mickey Mouse was also the very first film with synchronized sound so to Alastor it was an absolute cinema peak. He also has seen this film so many times that it's almost embarrassing.
Bonus: In hell Niffty watches it with him every. single. time.
Both of them laugh like it's the first time both of them are seeing it.
Vox: Sooo you've been in the trenches, and all of this because someone named Archie Duke shot an ostrich because he was hungry?
Alastair: .... Do you mean because a Duke of Austria-Hungary got shot?
Vox: Nononono there was definitely an ostrich involved!
Piebald Mare/Stallion
The conjurers of this patronus have an air of uniqueness, always straying away from the norm to be free to be who they really are. This uniqueness can come across in many ways, including the way the individual dresses, their creativity in the many different types of art forms and their personality quirks. These people tend to be first nervous around new peers but when comfortable they’re willing to open up. For different people it takes a different amount of time for them to become an open book, it could be between half an hour or even a couple of days or more. Those with this patronus deeply enjoy outings with a close circle of friends, whether it’s just to catch up over a drink or a picnic in a park with beautiful scenery, nevertheless these people still need time to be alone and ‘recharge’ as they find the serenity of solitude soothing.
Anyone who has a horse as their patronus, no matter which breed, always aspires to have freedom. It can be in different forms but these individuals always seek this particular thing out, whether it’s mentally, physically, spiritually or sexually. A different type of branch of freedom which is especially for the conjurers of the Piebald horse is that they hate having no choices, they need the freedom to know other options of a dire decision and figure out which possibility is best for them. These individuals are known to have strong passion and motivation for whatever they deem special and important and work tirelessly to achieve their goal.

Quick reminder that you don't need a solid sexuality! You can just be in love! Or not be in love! Or have a gender! Labels are a choice, not a requirement. All you need to do is be someone you like being! If labels help with that, great! But they are not required. You don't owe it to anyone, so don't feel pressured to choose labels if they aren't your thing!
Everytime...
You guys ready for this Alastor headcannon?
Charlie sets up a movie night for the gang to get closer or something, and it's a Disney movie marathon. Quess what one of the movies are? BAMBI. So, the scene where Bambi's mom is MURDURED Alastor is crying and at first no one can get anything out of him, and then he looks up with tears streaming down his face and starts crying even harder and they can all barley make out him saying
"Why would I be upset??? It's just hunting malpractice." Then full-on sobbing, "AnY hUnTeR wOrTh ThEiR SaLt KnOwS nOt To HuNt DoE's!!"
And it's the most heart-breaking thing that Charlie starts crying and Angel ends up changing the movie to Tangled or Something.
The next day when Alastor gets home from some business, he had to take care of, there's two stuffed animals on his bed, one baby deer and a doe. Both have pink bows around their necks and there's a note with a pink heart on it. He ends up putting the two on a shelf (with the bow still on the doe), though he has slept with the doe on multiple occasions.
Regarding your Alastor hating Lucifer one sight post it’s not like he’s wrong at all Lucifer even hates the sinners which idk if it’s indicative off classism or even racism towards humans in general, that’s how it could come off to Alastor anyways.
You opened the box of pandora, man. Alright. Let's talk about this , how it intermixes into Alastor and Lucifer being ✨Narrative Foils✨ AND why this is a good thing for both.
So. I feel like whatever is going on with Lucifer specifically, independently of Alastor's issues, has layers. Of course there are, but--okay. Let me try to put my brain through the drycleaner.
For starters, 'Sinners' are a social entity pertaining specifically to Hell (and Heaven). It's not the place where you've come from, the color of your skin, not even your values, but an accumulation of decisions. Decisions that are made and then get stuck in the forms of 'Sins'. Sins each person must account for. On earth, however, 'Sinners' are not a society, but people commonly known as...well. Assholes. Therefore we'd have to have in mind the context outside of and inside of Hell. In the context of pre-hell and post-hell.
In the context of Hell, yes! Lucifer can be considered a classist. (classicist?) He clumps everyone together in the same bag, calls it a day, and judges people for their sins rather than their whole humanity. Then again, after an age, it would be hard not to. (Considering the most recent episodes and what Lucifer's punishment implies, this makes even more sense.)
That's within Hell's context. Outside of the context of hell, he would just be saying the equivalent as "I don't want to involve myself around people that create an unhealthy environment for themselves and I", which isn't such a strange thing to want, or not want. Wanting people not to be assholes, especially coming for a being of creation that cannot create or belong in that environment, makes sense.
But BECAUSE it's hell, because such a place exists in Hazbin, with it's sociopolitical rules and divides, we'd have to consider it a 'race' of sorts, wouldn't we? A divide. From who? The people in heaven? The people on Earth?
That's the interesting thing, the divide. That there HAS to be a divide. That we don't KNOW what causes the divide, exactly. Between 'sinners' and 'winners' (god that term makes something inside me die)
Anyway, I got distracted-where was I. Right, Lucifer and his prejudice.
Lucifer is not wrong, is the thing; Sinners are sinners because they have sinned. Done certain transgressions that ultimately result in a certain...damage, so to speak. Maybe those sins are self-imposed, or maybe there's a higher eye in the sky that tilts the scales. Everyone down there seems to have some sort of regret one way or another, but once down in Hell, it's hard to do anything but to recreate the cycle in an environment that's meant to make it perpetual.
I think that Lucifer basically...got to the point where he clumped everything and everyone together. Saw too much, heard too much, and closed in. Refused to see no more. Refused to accept that sinners aren't just the sins that sent them down here, but the people of free will and choices and all the things that he has deep, deep issues about.
Funny thing about Lucifer:
Lucifer is guilty. Lucifer is hurt. Lucifer is trapped, and powerless in a cage of his own making. Lucifer made humans a gift, told them, 'Be free, choose!' and then people began to choose the 'wrong' thing. Lucifer is a fucking hypocrite. He told humanity to choose, and they chose, and he didn't like it, this terrible thing that they chose to do with the Free Will HE gifted them.
He was supposed to love humanity. Instead he was faced with everything that he KNOWS is wrong with it. Lucifer's reproach at sinners specifically seems to stem from his own hurt--not pride or even fear. He had hope and expectations; he gambled his life on them without really knowing the consequences, and ended up having to deal with results he was ill-equipped to deal with. (WHICH. is a VERY human thing to end up doing. Making a mess and having to deal with it. Except Lu is a hypocrite and does not want to deal with the consequence. But he must. He must.)
Now, this ties to, whoop-de-doo--Alastor The Radio Demon. The other side of Lucifer's tragic coin.
Lucifer and Alastor are trapped in a way, right? Lucifer by his nature, which strayed too far, who made a decision that had consequences, which had punishments. Lucifer was created with the privilege of not knowing hate until he got it, whereas Alastor was born IN that hate. In the terrible circumstance to begin with, who then tried to CREATE THE RIGHT SET OF CIRCUMSTANCES MEANT TO REPLICATE SAID PRIVILEGE. To be the greatest demon, the way a rich white man in the 30's is born a white man, with all the privilege it affords him.
Lucifer was born with the privilege, lost it, whereas Alastor was born without it, and clawed his way to assure it (try to, through all means available): But the fun thing is that they're both posturing.
Lucifer has power but not over hell. Alastor doesn't have power over himself. Lucifer is the Ringmaster. Alastor is the encapsulation of the Circus he cannot command. Alastor is what Lucifer HATES about sinners. Lucifer is what Alastor hates in general: being able to be born in the right circumstances, then throwing it away or using that privilege carelessly.
They hate each other because it's the part of themselves they have to surrender themselves to. It's why I love them. I really love them because it leaves SO much room for these two to recognize each other as more than each others faults. A mirrored situation, so to speak.
On a side note, for those people comparing Lu to a straight up racist, look at the context, then translate it to a literal fucking Fallen Angel: you can't.
Okay, Note out.
