For your "Magical Girl AU", what kind of villains did you have in mind?

I was thinking weirdo monsters coming into our world through the gapes in reality, possessing objects, people, and if their strong enough having a physical form :D

Well, I would have gone with creatures that looked like they crawled out of the depths of either Ripley Scott's nightmares and/or H.R. Giger's nightmares, but that's a good interpretation.
