So, as I went to see the movie for a fourth time yesterday, I noticed a little detail I’d like to share, which really got me to tear up hard. Seated in between several vaguely irritated grannies, who couldn’t make out why I was in floods of tears cause it’s one of the most unproblematic scenes of the movie.

See, this little shot is bothering me A LOT. To be exact, it’s actually just seconds before this shot what’s bothering me. I didn’t really notice it before because Cora is wearing sunglasses but she’s literally close to tearing up. She looks at Robert for a second too long and then immediately grabs his hand. It’s not even close to being as romantic as I had always thought it to be, it’s freaking TRAGIC. Also, is this Cora once again not communicating but going for touch as her way of communication? I freaking love the current debate about it in the fandom.
