A few years ago, mom gifted me a Phillips electric toothbrush. I had never used one previously, but I was very excited to try it. I am someone who has very sensitive teeth, so both my toothbrushes and toothpaste have been catered to being more in line with my sensitivities. I remember the excitement I had when I first used that toothbrush... excitement that ended up being misplaced. The bristles were very tough, and the vibrations were not adjustable, which led my gums to feel very sore. I used the toothbrush for probably two or three more times before deciding to revert back to my manual, non-electronic tooth brush. That toothbrush - while it had a lot of interesting features like it being auto-timed and automatic - left a lot to be desired, and I never used one since.
Here I am now, about to try the cariPRO electric toothbrush, feeling a bit nervous given my prior negative experience. This time, I reserved judgment and tried it for 7 days before making up my mind on the product.
Package Contents:
I received the Individual Package, which included the following
x1 cariPRO™ Ultrasonic toothbrush
x2 premium replacement heads with tongue scraper & DuPont™ bristles
x1 wireless charging dock
Pros:
Multi-brushing Modes - This to me is the feature that I was most impressed with. As previously mentioned, I really wished my first electric toothbrush had multiple modes to adjust for different functionalities. The five modes - cleaning, white, massage, gum care and sensitive - all felt unique but purposeful in what they do. This is very helpful and makes the toothbrush more versatile.
Effectiveness - The toothbrush is shown to be conducive to good oral health. It is said to remove 7x more plaque than a manual toothbrush and improve gum health in as little as 2 weeks. While I can’t empirically show this to be the case, I do feel that the brush made my gums feel strong and my teeth feel healthier and cleaner.
30 Day Battery - This is stated on the box, but while I haven’t used it for 30 days yet, I can attest that the battery life is extremely long. This makes it convenient for when you might need to go on long work trips and don’t want to bring the charging dock
User-friendly Interface - Two buttons are all you find on this brush. One for turning it on, and one for changing the mode. That’s all you need.
Replacement head - they included an extra head so when the head wears down, you’ll have another.
60-day trial - you can try it for 60 days!
Cons:
Cost - I think the biggest con is price. The retail for this toothbrush is notably high - the individual package is $119. Manual toothbrushes at your local markets retail for $5-$10. It can be hard to swallow such a large bill, but personally, I think it’s a worthy investment if you are willing to shell the money.
Takeaways:
Honestly, I was thoroughly impressed with this toothbrush set from the get go. The interface is extremely user-friendly, and I was able to adjust the brushing mode with ease. I tried every brushing mode, but as you may have expected, I really enjoyed the sensitive mode. The vibrations from the bristles were soft and deliberate, and it felt much more comfortable for my gums that my own personal toothbrush. It’s been a week, and I really do feel my teeth and gums feel healthier and cleaner. I really look forward to brushing more and seeing how my teeth and my gums feel the more I use it. Overall, this is a great product, and I would recommend it to my friends.
Thanks Smile Brilliant for the opportunity to try out the product - respect the work you all have put in making this product."

Yes, this week, work was a bitch and my student loan payment is due on the 25th. Yes, it’s scheduled to rain on Tuesday and my gas tank is running low. But it doesn’t matter. The sun is making its grand appearance and my body is here to greet it. Spring is coming. There is a carpet of green grass for me to spread out on and peach iced tea to sip. I’ll make it through this week, and the next one after that. I am practicing brightness; seeing the world with kinder eyes and caring for my little pains. And it’s working. The dog greets me every morning with kisses. I know all the love I have to give will be returned. Everything is so abundantly good.
