Marga excitedly fiddled with her skirt as she waited for her knew friend to arrive. She had been chatting back and forth with Reah for a couple weeks and she suggested they go out to get some food and relax. She had picked a cute little ramen shop that had beautiful interior decorations. She was waiting for a couple minutes since she had shown up a little earlier than she would have liked to admit.
She took a sip of her boba that she ordered and messed around on her phone as the time passed by. She was a little shy about asking Reah to a friend-date, thinking she might get the wrong idea about it. Don’t get Margarita wrong though, she thought Reah was extremely good looking and sweet, but she didn’t want to admit any of that for now.
Reah took her bike down to the more suburban part of her city to where Margarita asked her to meet. She didn't think much of it; they HAD been chatting for a little while, so this was bound to happen. She saw it up ahead near the sidewalk, and hooked up her bike to a bike rack a little ways away. Taking out her phone, she texted the other, saying, "Almost there btw. Walking now"she really likes tank
Margarita smiled at her phone and sent back a quick message, “Okay!” She kicked her feet under the table as she waited patiently still. Was she a little nervous? Absolutely. Why? She wasn’t entirely sure, it was a mix of a lot of emotions that she couldn’t describe very well.
The door opened just a few moments later, with Reah sticking her head in the doorway before walking in. She told the waiter at the front that she was meeting someone. She glanced around the tiny shop, before noticing Margarita in one of the booths, by the front window. "Oh, hey." She tapped the skeleton on the shoulder, going around to sit across from her. She had a simple black tank top with a red hoodie tied around her waist, and dark grey jeans with some beat-up red Converses to go with it.
Margarita’s smile only grew as they gave a cute little wave. ‘Hi! How have you been?’ They signed to the larger skeleton before taking a sip of their drink. She was a little more nervous than she would have hoped but I’ll be okay. A small part of her thought that maybe she had a small crush, and it was right. She kinda did, not a huge one (yet lol) but she did have some building feels towards the very nice skeleton in front of her.
"Tired, but that's fine." She crossed her arms on the table, leaning over a little bit. She pointed at the drink on the table. "What you got there?"
Marg looked at the item of her friend’s interest and smiled softly, gently pushing it to Reah. ‘Try it, it’s a fruit drink they serve here. It’s pretty good, do you like pineapple?’ She signed after offering the drink, it was pretty good but she didn’t mind sharing. Some of her sisters (who won’t be named) are crazy about sharing food but she wasn’t like that at all.
"Oh. Thanks." She replied, pulling the drink closer to her. "You want me to ask for a straw? Or are you fine with me sipping from the glass or your straw?" She asked before drinking, holding the glass in her hand.
I’m gonna be honest, I have no idea HOW you even sip. But either way I don’t mind, we’re friends it’s fine.’ She reassured, cracking a small joke to ease their own internal awkwardness.
She laughed, before going "Oh, yeah. It's a little weird, but it works." She used Margarita's straw (it would've been a lot harder to drink straight from the glass), lifting the straw up from the drink a little to reach her face. "Oh, that's pretty good! What's in there? I taste strawberry." She almost took another sip but refrained, and pushed it back to her.
‘Mhm, strawberry, pineapple, and lemonade!’ She seemed happy that Reah enjoyed the drink, her nose and corners of her eyes scrunching up a little as she let out a silent-laugh. Margarita lifted her hands up to sign again but the waitress had come back to check in with them.
“Hi there! I see you now have company. My name is Shiba, I’ll be your server for today, would you like to order a drink Mx?” Shiba was talking to Reah with a pleasant, customer-service smile.chilljammer"I'll get the drink she has." She told the waitress, pointing at the
drink. "And I'll get..." She glanced at the menu for a moment. "C3. Thank you." She held out her menu to Shiba, before turning to Margarita. "You done with your menu?"
She gave a small nod and handed it off to Reah, it getting passed along to Shiba who left to go put their orders in. Margarita looked back to Reah and thought for a moment. ‘So, how’s your brother and my sister? You told me a little about not really liking the change.’
Well, I think they're doing pretty good. Dex comes to visit 2-3 times a week and stays over on Saturdays sometimes. Still not a big fan of this, but it's much better than nothing." She said, resting her hand on one of her hands. "I'm getting used to it. Don't tell Lemonade, but I'm warming up to her a little." She added with a small grin.
She was listening and nodding along while Reah talked, laughing at her last statement about liking Lemon a little. ‘That’s okay, it’s better than fighting and stuff.’ She remarked, having a good point.
"Oh, definitely. With either of them. I don't think I wanna see your sister mad. I know I'm a little scary mad but her? Boy, she's probably on another level!"lovelydrawz‘You’re telling me, she can be just as bad as GJ. She just chooses to keep a lot of stuff hidden in, like her anger.’ Margarita pointed out. ‘If things ever do get rough let me know, I could help you talk with her.’ She smiled pleasantly.
"That would be helpful if needbe. Thanks!" She replied, putting two thumbs up. "Enough about me, though. What about you? Got any pets? I kinda wanna know more about your siblings, just in case I meet them- so I know what to expect. And do you know how Dex is doing with you guys? Like, relationship wise with everyone that isn't your sister, haha." She paused for a second, folding her hands on the table with a slightly worried glance. "Was that too much?"
Margarita was just trying to process all the questions, it was a lot but she could manage. ‘No no, you’re okay. I have an emotional support animal that I take with me sometimes, Dex is a sweetheart and everyone loves him except for GJ but she doesn’t like many people.’ It took her a moment to sign all that. ‘As for my sisters, they’re all so unique it would take hours to tell you about the 5 not including myself. Though if you had a person in specific you wanted to know about I could assist with that.’
"Hmm. Lemonade, I guess." Gotta keep tabs on her and Dex somehow.

Margarita smiled, ‘Figured!’ She gave a silent giggle and went back to the person at hand. ‘She’s the oldest and a lot of us look up to her, Sweet is crazy about her and acts kinda similar but they have big differences. Lemon —whether she likes it or not— has emotions, and a LOT of them. She kinda has issues with bottling everything in and used to have a lot of meltdowns. It appears Dex is good at stopping that from happening so I praise him for that.’ She signed all that out but it probably hurt her hands a little.
‘Regardless, she is very strong willed and a little stubborn. It’s hard to negotiate with her sometimes but she will here people out. There are.. darker things in her past but she’s okay. You can ask her about it since it isn’t my place to say. Her and Sweet do share personality traits.. and similar traumas.’ She explained before taking a sip of her drink, signifying that she was all done sharing.
"... Oh." That was all she had left to say. What else was she to add? Maybe she shouldn't have been so hard on her... when they had first met.Margarita could kinda tell what she was thinking and gently put her hand on too of Reah’s. ‘It’s okay, she doesn’t hold grudges. She really likes you.’ She gave a weak smile, hoping she didn’t overshare and fuck things up. She was great at oversharing so this wasn’t unusual, though she felt bad for saying so much.
She shifted her hand away from her, not because she was in the wrong, she just a little... uncomfy with it, for the time being. (lol) "Thanks. I really hope so, now that I know--at least to an extent--of what she's been through..."
Marg retracted her hand, noting mentally that Reah might not like touches (at least without permission). ‘Don’t feel bad, she’s tough and has been powering through that stuff. She doesn’t like dwelling on it so you shouldn’t have to either.’ Her smiled relaxed a little but she was a little fidgety. ‘Would could move to another topic if you want.’smile*
"Uh, uh... yeah. Sure. Uhm... you got any pets? Dex and I always wanted one but it never happened, haha." She answered, folding her hands back together on the table (she had separated them after Marg had signed about Lemonade in a little bit of shock).
Margarita nodded excitedly and pulled out her phone, pulling up a picture of her and her dog. She was in a dress and might have been going to an event or something. ‘My service dog, she’s my only “pet”. She’s really sweet, her name is Delilah.” The pup in question was a pretty big border collie, her fur long and fluffy. She had very pretty blue-gray eyes that shined compared to her dark coat.
Her [main] pupils dilated and grew wide and shiny, as she stared at the phone screen "Oh my goodness. She's fucking adorable! So are you!" Oops. Fuck. She put a hand over her "mouth". "Sorry about my language. She's just so cute and fluffy looking... I love dogs..."
The poor, innocent being that was Margarita lit up like a Christmas tree, her face colored with a glittery white blush. ‘I don’t mind the swears, she is super fucking cute.’ She signed jokingly while giving another silent laugh. ‘She’s really smart too, you could meet her sometime if you would like.’ She offered to be nice, though she was pretty sure Delilah wouldn’t mind because she liked other humans when she wasn’t being a working dog.
"Oh yeah! Definitely up for that. Dex is a cat person, but he doesn't mind dogs. How come she's not with you, if you're comfortable with answering-?" If she could pet such a fluffy dog she's ascend right then and there.
‘She’s at the vet, I usually need her for my anxiety but sometimes I’m okay without her. She’s getting a checkup with my sister at is probably home by now.’ She explained, taking her phone back and putting it in her pocket. ‘I used to have crippling anxiety in crowded spaces but this place isn’t packed and I’ve gotten better with time anyway. Delilah is usually with me just in case though. We could definitely stop by my house and you could give her a visit, she’d probably like the attention
"Oh hell yeah- only if you want to, of course! I get it if you'd wanna wait-" Reah started, before stopping and holding her hands up like she was being arrested, but her hands were hovering over more of her chest area instead.
