I’ve finished the anime a couple of days ago, and overall, I found it enjoyable. Future Diary is about this ordinary kid named Yukiteru Amano who owns a cellphone, and uses it to record every moment of his life, like a diary. Being a loner, he spends most of his time observing with his diary and talking to his imaginary friend Deus Ex Machina, who later turns out, isn’t really an imaginary friend, he is an actual god of time and space. In 90 days, Deus will die, making the world die as well, so he made up a “Survival Game” to chose the next person to become god. The game is simple, there are 13 12 diary owners, and they have to kill each other within the 90 days. The last person standing will become the new god. The so-called “1st Diary Owner” of the survival game (Yukiteru) is, well, a pussy. He can’t seem to defend himself without the help of someone, and lucky for him, he has a crazy yandere stalker named Yuno Gasai, who also plays the game. (2nd Diary Owner) Yuno would be my fav character, despite all the things she’s done. Future Diary is the last anime I finished (the current anime I’m watching is High School DxD), and as I said in my first sentance ↑, I found the series quite enjoyable. It is a Survival Horror manga, so yes, there’s gore and violence. Unless they have parent guidance or a fetish for oppai, I do not recommand children under 10 reading the manga or watching the anime (INCLUDING THE BLU-RAY VERSION) I would give it a 9/10. Yeah, how unoriginal, I know, but this is the only horror manga/anime I’ve seen that is actually GOOD.
