to all five mirai nikki / future diary fans out there: please can we cancel the propaganda of yukiteru being a man.

yuno and yukiteru were meant to be doomed yuri. hate to use that term but what else fits?? they were going against the odds and norms of the universe & toxic as fuck. like.
they got together and were manipulating the universe in their image after properly talking for like? a week?
yuno’s obsession with yuki is kind of just every wlw girl in a talking stage idk. girl had one interaction with this guy and decides that he’s her reason for living. she’s willing to kill for this random loser with no friends.
she killed another version of herself and her parents to be with him after THEIR DOUBLE SUICIDE FAILED. (wlw romeo and juliet coming soon)
yuki is the unreachable situationship who you have to beg to talk to you. he’s codependent on yuno too because he’s such a loser that he’ll die if this girl isn’t protecting him.
and he acts like it’s such a chore to date this girl and calls her crazy like he doesn’t have issues too. mind you all he has to do is be kind of nice to her in return for her saving his life every day.
he’s so #ihatemygf it’s actually laughable. yuno is over here taking out the japanese navy after yuki was strapped to the hull of a ship (joke), and yuki will still be like “yuno stop… people worked hard on these ships” ???
boy you were boutta die. and yk he’s not completely wrong because why is yuno so good at killing people. but survival instincts … come on now.
and also the amount of stupidity this boy has. he’s always on the verge of being murdered very gruesomely but will be WAY TOO empathetic and start considering the murderer’s feelings. only a loser queer girl could pull this off (not really but idc i could and im a loser queer girl)
and then he’ll start crying about how useless he is during a battle. he’s so embarrassing. how lame he is potentially is an argument for him being a man, but i choose to take this as him being a girlfailure.
(+100 points if yuki doesn’t consider herself queer before the yuno situation)
yuno KILLED TWO PEOPLE for kissing yuki. what’s more is yuki was like “ahaha oh okay…” and she was confused. she was all “i did everything for us… why don’t you love me” ??? GIRL???
i don’t know if every talking stage involves murder but yk. it could.
they would both rather die together than kill each other. she recreated the world and found him in it to be with him. he erased himself from the world to let her be a normal girl. and they still. fucking. found. each. other.
and NO they’re not healthy and NO neither of them are properly in love with the other.
they’re both crazy and that’s the point. they’ve got major issues but just put it into their “love.”
yuno fucking KIDNAPS!!!!! yuki after saying they were gonna go to the planetarium or whatever. he is strapped to a chair. the light is gone from his eyes. you think, as a mentally stable (?) viewer, “yukiteru won’t go back to her after this. this is the turning point.” WELL NO, actually.
yuki BECAME A GOD and SAT ON HIS ASS in the void just WAITING FOR YUNO.
not using his powers. just sitting there. that is so unbelievably gay. i can’t even explain it.
yuno GAVE UP HER LIFE as a normal girl to GO FART AROUND IN THE VOID WITH YUKI.
WITH NO MEMORIES OF HIM FROM THIS VERSION OF HERSELF.
oh yeah and they’re also doing all this as FOURTEEN YEAR OLDS?????????

??? i think i might be backing this take on the show because their relationship is a level of batshit insane and doomed that usually only wlw relationships reach in media?? but also idk i feel like the general themes of the show would be enhanced if they were both women.
going against the universe, desperation to survive, obsessive love, trying to alter the past. i don’t even know how to explain this but it feels like women better portray these themes.
women (in general) must work harder to survive, and the idea of two of them taking out all these scary old dudes idk. there’s something to it.
yuno already embodies these themes better than yuki does in the show. i think if there were TWO women exhibiting these themes better, future diary’s horror and psychological elements would be deepened so much.

also girl yuki would stop making yuki just clear self insert material for loser men who can’t do anything. he could be self reflection material for loser women who can’t do anything instead!!!
this show is also crap. like it’s not really good. but i enjoy it anyway for it’s unintentional complexity and just absurdity.
TLDR: yuno and yuki are wlw because they are crazy for each other. they will say and do completely unreasonable things for each other. yuki is a girl because she is a fucking loser and men need to be ashamed about being losers, not told they’ll get a cute gf.
