It’s going to take me a while to get used to the new base armour, but I’m trying. On another note, I’m getting more comfortable drawing Mr. von Krieger, but I still need to work on it. I’m not confident with drawing some of the others yet, no matter how much I want to… I’ll get there…maybe…ehhhhh.

Noble graph mage or Noble bar mage. Or if we turn 'Rūta' to 'Rue' then we get Noble famous mage. But Rūta in latvian literally means 'a graph' or 'a bar' so there's not much creative possibilities. As for my last name - it doesn't mean anything, because during german occupation a lot of latvian things got germaniased, including last name 'Zintnieks' which is a strong latvian name that stands for 'The one who knows it all'. But I'd we simplify it to better understandsable standards then simply 'mage'.

THIS IS THE SINGLE LONGEST THING I HAVE EVER EVER DRAWN

It’s the 20th of June, 2016! Also known as the day that Wally ‘ceased’ during the Young Justice season two finale. An event which shattered fourteen year old me’s trust in characters she liked not dying without obvious hints that it would happen, and my general ability to handle unexpected character deaths to the point that I still look up spoilers the moment I catch foreshadowing to this day.

I don’t reblog as much stuff as I used to but this show still means so much to me. So, so much. It was my first proper introduction into superheroes! The art style has influence my art style and the writing influence my writing and interacting with YJ fans was the whole reason I even got an account on tumblr in the first place!

Really, YJ was my springboard for so many things that are a big part of my life today, and is indirectly the reason I met some of my closest friends!

Obviously, this meant I had to do something for today. And that something was a fix-it comic because I just couldn’t bring myself to do angst like I originally planned.

(I haven’t got a planned backstory for this but hey, I finished it last night with twenty seconds left before my internet timelock kicked in. I think I can get away with no backstory for it)

Time for the AU no-one asked for, but the one I’ve done regardless - don’t know what to call it. So I was in the city and I saw one of those small, cute florist shops that looked absolutely packed with flowers, and I stopped and thought: “That kinda looks like a place Rigby would work” and then this happened. Invigorating story, I know…

Anyways, this is how I picture Rigby in the real world, she’d wear bright clothes to lighten up those around her. I originally thought maybe she’d work in a library or bookstore (I mean, she could) but florist just sticks with me for whatever reason. - she would smell so nice all the time c:

Tried to put as much colour into her as I could… wonder what it would look like if she were to stand next to the most monotone coloured DF character, or maybe one of the more serious…? and yes, that is a ring pop on her finger, those things are the best. Candy with class.

Uh, okay guys. I think we’re officially lost.

The gang that I always bring on my DF shenanigans - Rigby Conlan, Artix von Krieger and Ash Dragonblade (and Enoch). In pretty much all games, I pick companions based on how much I like them, so these nerds are always top of the list for Rigby’s travel buddies. There’s just something so endearing about the two of them…

Okay, so Artix’s hair doesn’t look right in my opinion, but I was too far in to change it…also I’m lazy don’t judge. (And I kinda feel his hair keeps changing anyways sooo…) I think Artix would have to hunch over, because the other two are shorties.

Just trying to get out of my block. Thinking of maybe drawing how Rigby interacts with different characters, but we’ll see how my motivation fairs after exams.
