[ Hello, darlings! It's been awhile hasn't it. Anyway, I've been thinking about bringing Ruby back! There's a catch, however; if I bring her back I'm going to reboot her. Meaning she's not entirely going to be the same character that she was.
I'm not sure entirely. I'm still thinking about it.
So if I do reboot her, just let me know if you'd like to keep the same relationship your character had with her. I'd prefer to discuss it, so just leave me a message, yes? Or you can catch my on skype. Skype name is rubysfoster if you don't already have it. ]
[ So, as much as it pains me to do, this blog is officially on a hiatus. I know Iāve said that before, but this is it. I donāt know when or if Iāll be coming back to this blog. It feels like Ruby has gone permanently silent on me.
Iāve gone through a lot with this character, so I donāt think I could ever bring myself to actually delete her. I like to think thereās always a chance for her to come back someday.
For everyone I had threads going on with, Iām terribly sorry for just abandoning you like this, but unfortunately, this is the way it is. I canāt do much with an absent muse.
And for everyone who Ruby was a part of their characterās every day life, I am especially sorry! You can decide whatever Rubyās absence will meanāit could be that sheās away, or you can pretend that sheās still around, or you can even just take her out of your characters life completely. Whatever you decide, I will support you!

Ruby entered the room, hands continuously smoothing out her newly chopped pixie haircut. She was only mildly self conscious about it now, and Baldr hadn't even seen it yet. She smiled to her raven haired love, feeling a bit more confidant in his presence. "Hello, love." [ Hello, I have missed you. Sorry I haven't been around! ]
Heād been cooking or, at least, attempting to, having procured a few cooking books from the local charity shop around the corner. Asgard needed him less and less as the politics died down and were replaced with the Yule Tide festivities, so the chance to visit Ruby came up more often.Ā
Heād just put the gammon joint in the oven, in fact, and was mulling over the next few stages when his fiancĆ©e came in, her hands districting him from the mess strewn across the kitchen. His beaming smile didnāt even waver at the new haircut, and the god leapt across the distance between them, his fingers replacing hers int he shortened locks.
Naturally, messing it up completely.
āHello my love,ā Baldr cheerfully replied, stealing down for a kiss as his hands ploughed over her scalp. āYou realise I am never not going to do that now?ā
Finding Baldr cooking was hardly a rare sight in her apartment (practically their apartment at this point). In fact, he was the reason why she wasnāt solely eating just take-out anymore. And with his visits becoming more frequent again, she was one happy fiancee.
She laughed as his fingers dug and roamed through her now short locks, causing it to go astray.
"Youāre such a dork." She grinned at him after a quickly shared kiss. "I love you desperately though. And is that so? I look forward to it because that feels delightful. Soon enough Iāll be purring like a kitten!" She laughed again, resting her hands on his hips. "You like it though? It doesnāt look terribleā¦ or makes me look like a boy?"
"āāTis not to my liking."
"Hmm. Good thing I didn't cut it for you then. Don't worry, my hair tends to grow back fast. Unless I decide to cut it again." She smiled teasingly.
"You don't like it?"
