Just noticed that in this moment (in episode 6) Olek talks to Ling Yi in English for the first time. In the events leading up to it Eyk had also been using English to convey instructions to everyone, but I think Olek was making an extra effort here to try out another language he and Ling Yi could use to communicate. Of course they understood each other implicitly anyway, but I love the gesture 🥹

when you think about it, THIS is the way shows should work. you need a couple of months to shoot about ten episodes which then get released soon after. nowadays, shows are taking too much time for less than 10 episodes and luckily, the maxton hall team is feeding us well. honestly, thank you for that cuz i am in desperate need for s2 and i now think it will be released sooner than i thought it’d be.
